Desertphiles,
I was browsing through the Scientology link and noticed the "feature question of the day" - "What could L. Ron Hubbard tell you that you wouldn't believe if he were alive today?" I read your answer. Then I was curious as to your very short, one word answer(and why it got a five in rating when you didn't even specify a real answer). So I decided to click on your name to find out what makes you an expert in Scientology. And I am very perplexed as to why, if you wouldn't "believe anything", waste your time with all of it, studying it, and even having a whole website on Scientology. To me this doesn't make sense. Why would someone continue to put forth their precious time and efforts into something they don't "believe"? Maybe you should take a look at that. Why not put forth your time in something you might really enjoy doing, something that will fill your time, that will make you happy.(unless wasting your time on something that you don't like, does make you happy).

Hi Larry.
Do not ask me why Arnie et al rated my answer a "5." I don't give a rat's hinnie what my "rating" is. For all I care, it is just as well if no one even bothered rating my answers. It means nothing to me. What matters is speaking the truth; I do not care if others feel the need to applaud it.
You falsely dubbed in that I do not believe in Scientology. It is the Church of Scientology that is the problem. Go see www.fza.org for an education. Hubbard went insane after he discovered the Tech; one may use the Teh to one's advantage and still castigate Hubbard and what has become of his Organization. When your Church tried to hide sexual battery on two small children (http://www.gate.net/~shipbrk/Co$/strawn/index.html) that was not Hubbard's doing; that was not the Tech's doing; that was Church of Scientology's doing, per policy.
Do you understand the difference?

You are not making a rational argument. Physicians study all kinds of cancers with the hope of understanding them and trying to help other people understand cancers and how to help prevent them (such as diet, carcinogenics, even mood). That does not mean they should run out and inject cancer cells into their bodies.
The Houston Police Department has a very large web site about crime. Does that mean they should be criminals?
You then wrote: Why not put forth your time in something you might really enjoy doing, something that will fill your time, that will make you happy."
You mean doctors working on cancer prevention should stop and go play golf every day? Or take up basket weaving?
There are hundreds of web sites on the Internet that explore Church of Scientology's criminal side, created by critics who have escaped the Church of Scientology and those who have never been in the Church but see the problem and do something about it. When I learned about the forced labor "reeducation" camps the Church of Scientology runs, I could no longer remain silent. http://wwwxenutv.com/int/happy.ram
What's YOUR excuse?
The average rating for this answer is 2.8.

Excuse? Why would I have one or need one. I don't.
And the rest of what you said doens't make much sense for an arguement anyway, not that it even was suppose to be, because I was just asking you why, so I can't even think of how to communicate it all to you...so I won't bother. Too much conflict going on with your information.
