I just read on "clambake" www.xenu.net that Hubbard was also a "Satanist." HARDLY! I refuse to believe it. Where's the proof! Why would someone put that on their web page?!

If you read the material you will see that Hubbard was NOT a Satanist. It seems very clear to me that his interest in Jack Parsons did not include Parsons' Satanism. It looks more like Hubbard was interested in Parsons' money, wife, and boat and that Satanism had NOTHING to do with it.

You should not be worried about Satanism. That religion teaches its members to only cause harm if first harmed. I've read Crowley's book "Magick without Tears" and while I dissagree with much of what he wrote, I found nothing sinister in his religious philosophy.

I think you are wrong: from the material I read it sure looked to me like he was dabbling in Satanism.
