There are many homosexuals in the Church. The Church's founder, L. Ron Hubbard, said that homosexuality was a "perversion," but that may have been changed in today's Church. If you go to an Org or Mission and seek services and cources, you will be asked via auditing about such things as your sexuality. The fact of your homosexuality will go into your "pree clear folder." They may try to "cure" you, because the Church has not yet figured out that homosexuality is not an illness or disease that needs to be "cured."
"scullytoo" wrote that one of Hubbard's son, Quintin, killed himself because he was homosexual. That is only slightly true. Quintin wanted to learn to fly airplanes and wanted to be a professional pilot. Hubbard was envy of that desire (Hubbard wanted to do the same when he was young but never did), and he denied Quintin the chance.
Quintin killed himself at the end of a runway at an airport, laying on the top of his car where he could die while watching planes take off and land.
