I know the stock answer. But it seems like an awful lot of effort on your part to defame. have you any idea of the good the church does? The rehabilitation?
Personally I suffered from depression my entire life only to see it vanish five years ago without a trace. Once a criminal by nature,I am now an upright citizen. Completely drug free! Not so much as a parking ticket! I'm a volunteer counseler and tutor and through what I've learned in Scientology I was able to 3x my income, going on 4xing my income. I've done this in as little as 6 years, without the help or support of the so called scientology "network". My girlfriend has gone up the entire bridge for nothing, she works twenty five hours a week at the mission. The costs I've accrued over the years has come from volunteer donations, not fees. I am a proud lifetime member of the Church of Scientology. Why is that so wrong?
The way I see it is you have two choices, continue this attempt of futility or move on and get a life. Enjoy yourself, life is entirely too short to piddle your time away here.
I wish you well, Larry Bergen

Congratulations on your newfound sense of health and well-being. You have my deep and sincear good wishes in your continued happiness with Scientology. I have no reason, and therefore no intention, of implying or stating that you or anyone else should escape Scientology. That is a M/U on your part which you dubbed in.
The Church's motto is "Think For Yourself." That requires the examination of all the data available. The Church teaches that one must learn to Evaluate Data. You might think doing so is a "silly game," but it is Church doctrine.
By all means be free and happy as a "lifetime member of Scientology." If it harms no one, who's to say nay?
