my experience turned out to be horrible

I went to NT Nail Spa (the one at Coffee Rd) for a simple manicure. And my experience turned out to be horrible. I had to wait for an hour even when I had gotten an appointment. These people have no sense of punctuality. I had made an appointment a week ago because I’m a busy person. I am never going back there because even after making me wait for an hour, they did a terrible job with my nails. The receptionist seemed okay but that was the only thing good about that place. What’s the purpose of making appointments if you can’t even handle them? Only the receptionist apologized to me when I got angry and started leaving for the place. I am not saying that all of them should have apologized but at least they could have shared the guilt.

The lady doing manicure cut the skin underneath one of my thumbs. I was afraid that was gonna happen because she was doing it very impatiently. I had told her to be a little careful but she didn’t listen. So, first they messed up my appointment and then they cut one of my fingers. That’s too much to handle for me. She tried to improve things but failed in doing so. I knew she’d mess up that too. I guess they claim to have professionals but in reality, they only have an inexperienced or illiterate staff to handle all the affairs. I have never felt more frustrated in my life than that day. I just don’t know what do these people really think? Do they think that they can get away with pathetic service and terrible staff? Are they too arrogant to notice these differences?

When I was there, I didn’t get mad at the staff. I didn’t want to create a scene. But at least they could have behaved with a little decency too. They still charged me the full amount because the lady ‘had done the task and apologized for her mistake’. Those were the worst dollars I have ever spent in my life. I was fooled by their different branches and online presences. Look up for NT Nail Spa and you’ll come across a beautiful website and plenty of positive reviews. I don’t know how do they even get these reviews. When I was leaving the place was barren. There weren’t many customers.

All of them had left and it was clear that in one of the busiest hours of the day, the place was deserted. I’m not implying anything I just think it’s suspicious for a spa to have so many reviews with so few customers. Moreover, they don’t do anything extraordinary (abnormal, yes). So it isn’t possible for every customer to leave a 5-star review.

Anyway, I hope my story helps you make a better decision here, which is to avoid NT Nail Spa. You can get a much better manicure or pedicure at someplace else. The area is full of amazing service providers. Just avoid terrible ones like this one.
