I origonally ordered my part for my 1978 Camaro May 31st 2003. I called on a weekly basis, each time hearing excuses why it hadn’t shipped, and then they would give me a ship date a week later. I would call back to find myself in the exact situation time and time again. This went on for over a month. The people I would speak to were, short, rude, and obviously didn’t care in the slightest about the problems they had caused. The only way I ever got a closer to accurate answer and only slightly more assistance, was by asking to speak to a manager (Steve). When they finally shipped my part to Utah (2 states away) it didn’t arrive for an additional 2 weeks. Durring this time my car is waiting for a fender and cannot have any body work done to it until its recieved, but why should they care? Upon retrieving the fender, I find that there is an additional 30 dollars left over in shipping costs that autobodyreports just happened to forget to mention. The part cost was 100 dollars, $49.00 shipping and handling charge, plus the unexpected 30 dollar charge left over in shipping fees brought me to $188.99, and the origional final price that I was expecting was 158.89. The frustrations, the lies, the deception, the broken promises, the poor treatment of customers… how the hell is this company still in business? One final thing I have to add to all of this frustration, is that there were multiple occassions where I was informed I would be recieving a phone call to update me on the status of my part…guess what happened? On a final note, anyone reading this who is even THINKING about ordering a part through this company should reconsider, even if it means an additional 50 bucks. The frustration is simply not worth it. Hopefully this message reaches you in time. Jared Salt Lake City, UtahU.S.A.
