A-1 A-south Hill Transmission

I am a former employee of TOM DAVIS and can tell you first hand that he is crooked. From the way he treats his employees to the work provided to the consumer. He does do good things for people when it suits to boost his enormous ego. (when people are watching) An example of this “back yard operation” is all too common and happened quite frequently. A vehicle came in for service and the pan was full, and I mean FULL of metal and other debris. So naturally Tom told his manager to sell the job. When the manager returned a few moments later, he reported that the customer pulled out a receipt, having recently had a full rebuild on her transmission at Tom’s shop. The unit obviously needed warranty repair. Tom changed his tune however saying, it’s not really that bad and to just change the fluid. Remember the ad “HONESTY IS OUR POLICY?” In addition, I have read the other complaints about this shop and for the most part they are accurate. He does ask for cash when times are lean, he pays some of his employees under the table (ripping off uncle sam)this is usually the new employees. We were not made to wear the honesty statement on our shirts, but the list goes on and on which is why in part I chose to quit. He is also verbally abusive to his employees and customers. For someone who claims to be a devout christian, he sure has a filthy mouth. I was a long time employee and quit on my own for the sake of reputation and mental well being. This insight is for the consumer to take with them if they choose to do business at one of these shops nothing more.
