I would advise anyone thinking about purchasing used auto parts from A-1 Auto and Truck Wrecking, to reconsider based on how they handled my transaction. Evan (the owner) in my opinion is the perfect example of why our industry has the bad reputation that follows us . I am a parts broker in Jacksonville, FL. I bought a used transmission from Evan at A-1 for a customers 2004 Mercedes CLK320. It came with a 30 day warranty. The transmission was installed by a dealer. The transmission computer was flashed. The transmission failed to perform. I called Evan on day 20 to inform him we were returning the transmission for a refund. He refuse to take any further calls. He has now refussed to accept shipment 2 times. So begins the long credit card dispute process. Save yourself the aggravation. DO NOT BUY FROM A-1 OR EVAN.
