A-1 Plumbing Contractors

Santino Camarca was paid to install two retaining walls, gutters, and demo a in gound pool, and complete all landscaping. He took the money and ran, he is not returning phone calls or texts. Now I don’t have the money to have the work completed. He is probably scamming other people, I can’t be the only one to trust this guy and his company which doesn’t exist. | I paid A-1 Plumbing & Contracting; owner Santino F. Camarca (which goes by the name Frank Camarca) and Tom Pleszewski $6000.00 to install demo and install two retaining walls (railroad ties) and new gutters by the retaining wall. Also paid him for demo of an in ground pool and yard restoration/cleanup. He took the money, removed the old railroad ties from one of the two retaining, then left it as is. The pool, he crushed it but it has not been filled so I have a hole in my back yard. Also, he was supposed to pay for excavator and he hasn’t paid for that either so the rental company wants me to pay. Frank is not answering his phone, not returning any of calls or texts. I am a senior and now I have to try and find someone to help me and work around my social security check. I can’t pay for this work twice so I am in a bind. It will costs more money to sue him. The company is not a listed with State of Ohio even though he said he was a licensed plumber and contractor. I don’t know if he has scammed other people. I do not know he wanted cash, so I suspect he is not paying taxes. I did have him fill out a w-9 for me which he used his social security number (if that is real). This person needs to be stopped from scamming seniors. Hopefully someone will help me.
