2.5 HOURS OF WORK & $80 in material charged me $1250 without an estimate. Cisco was working in the neighborhood, I asked for an Estimate for some work, specifically roof repair. Cisco climbed up, looked, came down then left, leaving his ladder. I waited 2 hours, he didn’t return. I went shopping, for 2.5 hours, when I returned Cisco came to my house, said I owed him $650 . I climbed up, looked, it was about an hour of effort, but insufficient. I asked Cisco to correct the work, he did, then returned and said I now owed him $1250. I had to pay since Texas allows any person who works on a home to put a lein on it regardless if the work was completed or incorrect without insurance or a license. .
