Some children have the worst time in their lives when they visit and my 12 year old daughter was also as reluctant to go to a dentist. However, when I came to know of A Wild Smile Pediatric Dentistry, I decided to give it a try. They were said to be a kid friendly pediatric dentistry and it seemed as if their chambers were styled like some kind of a jungle safari which would keep the kids engrossed as their teeth were getting checked. I made an appointment with them for my daughter at +1 720-945-1234 and drove all the way to Denver from the suburb where I lived. To start with, my little girl was quite excited when we went it and it did look like a new experience for me. She had her photo taken for the “passport” and then I was told that a guide would take it from there, who was in fact a dental consultant. However, I tagged along and it turned out to be a good idea. While the place was quite impressive, the actual dentistry is nothing much to talk about. The kids are mostly distracted with all the safari stuff and the parents may not always notice what is going on. However, the dental check up was quite ordinary and nothing specialized. It felt more like a theme park rather than a dentist’s office and although the effort can be appreciated regarding the need to distract the children, I simply ended up paying a lot of extra money for services which I did not get. My daughter was very happy of course, so much so that she almost refused to go to a regular dentist after that. It took a lot of persuasion on my part to convince her to visit another dentist with me the following week.
