Found this place in the phone book. Took the car in to be looked at for an air conditioning problem-car was blowing warm air. I have had cars serviced before in the past and family members, including my father who was in town at the time have worked for major auto companies for over 30 years. We took the car in in the morning and was told it would be a few hours. No problem with me, sounded pretty standard based on my experience and my dad’s advise. I did not hear from this place all day and finally called at around 2pm. I have kids that need to be picked up and the usual stuff to do so I needed to make alternative plans if they were still fixing the car. ALL I was told was ‘we haven’t found the problem yet’ dispite my trying to get any information or updates on my car. Ok, so 4 30pm rolls around and I am now really needing to figure out how to pick up my children. I called back and was told again ‘we haven’t found the problem yet.’ This did not sit right with me. So I started asking questions about approximately how much longer, do I need to leave it overnight or pick it up (mind you they close at 5 and NO ONE had called me to tell me anything or to let me know they were still working on it by 445), was there any problem that they had eliminated etc. ALL the man said was the same thing ‘we haven’t found the problem yet’ only he added ‘mam we want your car gone as much as you do.’ NICE. I reluctantly opted to leave it overnight in fear that I would be put back in line in the am if I took it home, as it was first come, first serve. I should have listened to my instinct and taken my car home and gone to a different place, but I needed the car fixed, it was in the 90’s that week and I can put up with the heat but I was not going to put my 6 week old infant and 2 year old in a steaming hot car. The next day it was the same thing, absolutely NO communication from this place until I called late afternoon to check on my vehicle. The man suprisingly said he was finished with my car and I could pick it up-again a phone call to tell me this would have been nice. They charged the A/C and it cost me 100 bucks. He told me and wrote on my receipt ‘no leaks found at this time-if leaks back come in with receipt asap to recheck at no extra charge.’ So basically they found no problem after having car for 2 days, recharged the A/C and after 2 weeks the car was blowing hot air again. My husband called to find out when to bring the car back for the ‘free recheck’ as stated and the man was rude to my husband and told him ‘what do you want us to do about it?’ This is the worst communication and customer service I have ever experienced. When you ask questions you get a rude response. Whatever happened to customer service?? I would not recommend this place. They advertise being experts in air conditioning yet after 2 days found nothing and offered no help or alternative solutions.
