AAMCO JRJ Transmissions

VERY NICE PEOPLE BUT…CAR MAY NEVER BE THE SAME. –2 WEEKS TO DO THE JOB, TOOK IT BACK & THEY HAVE HAD IT ANOTHER WEEK. (so far)I had my o/d light come on which indicated there was an electrical/transaxial problem. I called them to see if they worked on both elect. & trans. problems, and agreed to bring them my car. I knew they were booked up over the weekend, but that Monday was told it was a transmission problem. We agreed on the repair & I waited… My car was there from May 5th – May 19th. I drove my car for a week, then the o/d light came on. I pulled over & waited for awhile. when I restarted my car, everything was alright. In less than a half mile, my engine light came on. When I opened my hood, I could see where there was transmission fluid all over wires, connectors, and other parts all over the right side of the car, where the transmission fluid had leaked out. When the tow truck came, he agreed there a hose was not connected, which allow the fluid to leak out. I took my car back, and the owner is now trying to tell me that I blew something, but he is going to repair it at no cost. THEY ARE FIXING @ NO COST BECAUSE THEY KNOW THAT THEY CAUSED THE PROBLEM. My car has now been back there from May 27th (Memorial Weekend) to the present (todays’ date June 5th) Lurlene Chesapeake, VirginiaU.S.A.
