AAMCO TRANSMISSIONS OF VISTA

I am a single mother who took my car to AAmco on May 22nd of this year,my car was in a fender bender accident while parked.1 took it to AAMCO to be checked because of fluild leakage coming from under my car. I had went inside and asked one of the employees if they did free estimates and he said no, so i said okay thank you, he then asked me what was wrong i told him my situation what had happen and he got his order form out and started writing so at that point he said dont worry will look at it. I then left it there, An employee of theres gave me a ride home which I knew, I then didn’t hear from them until the next day, Ben called and said it diffently was from the accident cause my car was leaking all over the place, which i thought it was kind of strange since it haden’t leaked like that before. Then Ben told me they were gonna take my transmission apart to diagnois it, so he needed my birth date, then later he’ll ask me for my social, I wondered why but didn’t ask no questions. So they took my transmission out knowing the Insurance company was sending one of there mechanics to verify it was from the accident, they took it apart then two days later the insurnce mechanic looked at it and said it was not related to the accident. So now they billed me and said i had to pay 589.00 dollars to put my transmission back or get it fixed for 2200.00 dollars. I had them put it back and paid them there money and will never never recommed any one to go there or any other AAMCO they are rip off’s……….. We will be taking this to court if i dont get my money back for not authorizing the work done to my car, they also signed my name and said the adjuster okayed the work. which she never authorized eighter .
