I took my car in for diagnosis and repair of a noise coming from my car. I am quite ignorant when it comes to car repair, but the service technician assured me that he knew exactly what the problem was and could repair it. When I picked up my car after service and after over $400 in expenses, it still made the same noise and had begun leaking some sort of fluid from underneath. When I called the next morning to tell them that the first problem wasn’t repaired and that there was now a new problem, they told to bring my car back and they’re sure that the other problem was coincidental. When I picked my car up for the second time, it still had the same two problems. I called back on the third day to tell them of my delimma only to have them tell me that my car is old, has too many miles on it and that anything could be wrong with it. I completely disagreed with him, as I know my car. The mechanic further went on to tell me that I ‘was not a mechanic and didn’t know what I was talking about’. Again, I admit that I am mechanically ignorant, but I pay close attention to my car and recognize when it does something it does not ordinarily do…like make a noise or leak fluids. To give you a little history on my car…I have a 1997 BMW with a little over 100k miles on it. No major service issues EVER, routinely serviced for maintenance, has NEVER had anything leaking from it until I let these people touch it. Ultimately, I had to take it somewhere else to be repaired and pay more money. Stay away from these people!! Not to mention after doing some research I found out that this is the 5th company owned by these people n less than 10 years………………..what are they running from. I also looked up there individual names only to find out they have over 20 combined judgements in Virginia where there a few of there other companies resided.
