I received my bank statement last week and upon looking at it found I had been charged what they call privilege pay fees(overdraft fees) when I had available monies in my account. So I called them on a wednesday and got the run around and was told a manager would call me on thursday. I waited for a phone call all day on thursday finally, thursday evening I called and spoke to a rep who acted shocked that no one had called me. She then told me she was going to call me back within the hour I never received a call back. On Friday I called abco once again and complained AGAIN only to have some other rep act once again surprised that no one had called me. She explained a story to me that made no sense because on my statement in black and white it showed I had the monies available, from Wednesday to Friday I had three different stories given to me. So on Friday a woman by the name of Patti told me I would have to call back Monday and talk to their supervisor. On Monday Patti called me once again to give me the same BS story and I told her I would call Jeff her supervisor, which I did and upon talking to Jeff he explained the same BS story and told me that if he3 refunded the monies that they would cut off my ‘privilege pay’ for good. Privilege Pay is a thing that abco has that you can overdraft your account into the negative for up to $800.00. So I was charged fees for my account as if I was in the negative but I was not. So I asked Jeff, ‘thats how you treat your customers that have been with you for over a year I’ve never had one complaint and that how you are going to treat me’? SO I made the decision that I am going to take it as far as I need to and I will be closing my account. I won’t stop until my monies are refunded with my privilege pay still being active and I will be letting my attorney handle it.
