My less than two year old battery failed. It leaked acid out of the positive terminal and ruined my stater and cable. I have not heard back from AC Delco, and GM won’t cover it because my car is out of warranty. The replacement battery I received, was already leaking when it was unwrapped. I told one of the managers at the GM dealership that they shouldn’t put anymore AC Delco batteries in any cars till the defect is fixed. His reply was “IT WILL BE GM WHO GETS SUED, NOT ME”.
