I wanted to find rent-to-own properties so googled “rent to own properties”. A site called Access Rent to Own came up and they want $1 to run credit report first before viewing any homes. So paid the $1 and got the report. Next it takes you to another page demanding more money before you can actually see any homes. I called the 800 number posted on the site and once it rings, you’ll be put on hold (listening to horrible music) and no one will ever pick up. Total time suck! So it turns out, this is a bait n switch scam. It’s really a law firm offering services to “clean up” your credit report. Has NOTHING to do with finding homes to rent to own! RUN fast and DON’T give them your bank account information!
