What a negative experience with Ace garage door my friend had! It was quite difficult to convince Tom, who is the victim and my friend, to tell me this issue, He actually never wanted anyone to know about it but I will let you know so that you can make the right decisions in the future when maybe you might be in need of their services or something of that sort. My friend had an issue with his door springs. I guess they had spoilt hence he was referred to Aces Garage door by his home warranty company. Honestly, their initial response was extremely good since they came quickly without any delay, and diagnosed the issue on the spoilt door springs. They suggested a new door as well. Actually, the technician Mohammad was perceived to be professional and prompt. He assured my friend that he would order the springs and submit the request to his home warranty company for a new door. Since my friend had put his trust in him he actually believed what the technician told him. Now, here is where things actually went wrong. His home warranty did not cover the replacement of a new door, but instead authorized replacement of the springs that had been spoilt. My friend had accepted that he would pay for the repair of his existing door. He waited for a call from Aces to schedule the repair of his door once the parts came in. You know what, he actually never heard back from Ace\’s garage door at all. Three days later Tom decided to call them, whereby Nancy at Ace\’s garage door was extremely rude, careless and unprofessional when he called to get the appointment scheduled. At first, she actually insisted that the claim was denied by his home warranty company so he had to seek clarification from the company and later called her back and she said she would look into it and get back to him. She never called as she had stated. He had to call her again and this time she sounded very rude. He humbly asked her to contact the home warranty company to clarify the coverage of the approved claim and she refused by giving an excuse of it being a long hour call hence she could not make it. Tom had to call the home warranty again. After that, he had to make a call to Nancy at Ace’s, but she totally refused to perform the contracted service if the home warranty company was not paying for a new door. Tom had to go a step ahead. He told them that he will pay for the repairs and she said strictly said no, more so refused to provide a quote for a repair or a new door.
Ultimately it was evident that Aces Garage door was unwilling to perform the contracted work, and refused to even provide a quote to my friend to perform the work at his own expense. This company seems to cater to the home warranty business mostly, and it is not interested unless the warranty company could pay. Nancy refused to follow up and refused to offer an adequate explanation for why they wouldn’t provide a quote. Be warned they are not good people at all.
