Our dishwasher went out and Action Appliance came out same day. They quoted $540 to replace the pump. We had company coming and needed it fast so agreed and paid in advance (I know, I know, right here we’ve shown we were clearly suckers). I’d have been fine being overcharged if they held up their end of the bargain. The part was supposed to be in the next couple of days and they’d call us as soon as it arrived to schedule an immediate appointment. After about 4 days we finally started calling them. About day 6 they finally answered and scheduled an appointment for a couple days later. They no showed that appointment (with a 4 hour window). We rescheduled for another couple days out. They no showed that appointment. I called and requested a refund. They said no and obnoxiously said I was under contract and they were “trying to fulfill their obligation”. After going ballistic, they said they would send a tech that evening to do the job. Nobody came and did the job that night. Finally, the next day they sent someone out in the afternoon. He installed a $100 part, spent a little more than an hour and they were off with my $540. I guess at this point I’m happy they did any work after taking my money and never showing up. Do not use these people. Worst company I have ever, ever dealt with. .
