Buyer beware Hurst is the Wurst ! i purchased a pr. of Hurst cheeter slick from adams hot rod rubber. co. in oregon, when i rec.them they looked horrible back yard made ! I called cody adams and told him he said to run them on my car and BURN THEM IN !I told him the car was still a project with out a motor. the problem was with the side walls , they looked like some one just put them on with roofing tar. i took pictures and sent them , he said go ahead and mount they are ok. 2 months after sitting off the ground mounted they started to separate ! THEY USE USED CORES TO BUILD THESES JUNK TIRES ! I sent more pics to show him he said still alright you need to burn them in ! same old run around he was trying to get me to use them to void the warrenty. After months and months of b/s or run around i demanded to send them back . they still had the paper stickers on them reglue the ,I told him i wanted NEW ONES AND I WOULD BUY A NEW ONE AND YOU GIVE ME THE OTHER NEW ONE FOR THE 2 JUNKS HE SOLD ME… I figured more than fair on my part … he said no way !!!2 weeks later they showed up 2 doors down REGLUED & SCREWED ! I MOUNTED THEM NEVER DRIVEN ON 2 WEEKS LATER THEY CAME APART… THESE PRODUCTS ARE DANGEROUS. I paid 590.00 +110 shipping 30.00 to mount them…….. 30.00 to demount them 135.00 UPS to ship back to him 30.00 to remount a total of $ 925.00 for recaps…. I asked him he he would split shipping charges , if they were done right the first time i wouldnt have to have gone through all the time and expense and risking mounting magnesium wheels…. he said not a chance in hell!!! that he,s done enough.I purchasd a NEW pr. from RADIR NICE PEOPLE AND ONE PIECE TIRE DESIGN WAY CHEEPER !!NO B/S. I BLEW ALMOST A GRAND WITH THIS p***k FOR JUNK … SOME ONE COME GET THEM THERE IN MY WAY NOT EVEN GOOD FOR A TIRE SWING !!!!PS I CALLED HURST AND MR GASKET CO. THEY ARE NOT AFFILIATED WITH THEM… THEY ARE USING THE GOOD Hurst name we all know and loved … They need to be shut down before they hurt some one. on march 18th when i talked to him for the last time i told him of the other bad reports on him, he said oh dont worry about that !!! NOW IM WRITING MY STORY !!!! BEWARE HURST IS THE WURST …………………
