ADE Remodeling

I signed a contract with these con artists almost a year ago. It has been a constant game of their lies, delays, no shows, and excuses. At this point, the project is about 1/2 finished–and the only reason ANY work at all was done was because after 6 months of waiting with no work being done, I started badgering, yelling, and calling constantly. Be sure of this: They are NEVER going to finish a project. I was told by an employee who has been there for a few years that he has never seen a finished project. I was delighted when informed by ADE over two weeks ago that their number one con man Itzick Gregore Kohn had resigned “due to health reasons.” Yes, prison is never good for a person’s health. In reality, he has been charged with 2 felonies in Broward County (with a list of @ 25 charges, including numerous ones for grand theft). He has a court date for 8/6/14, but reportedly has packed up a U-Haul and left the state like a thief in the night in an effort to escape justice. I assume that he will be trying to perpetrate the same fraud upon other unsuspecting customers somewhere out of Florida. He needs to be stopped. I had hoped that after the scammer Kohn resigned, things would get better. They have not. Apparently, ADE is run by a band of thieves, not just one. I was told by an officer in the Broward Sheriff’s Office (BSO) that ADE had a history of the same game of lies and thievery before Kohn ever came onboard. Anthony Di Simone and Tony, the project manager, seem to be of the same caliber–lying thieves who have no integrity, no respect, and no consideration for anyone but themselves and for how much money they can steal from people. At this point, I do not expect to ever have this project completed by ADE–and I intend to eventually see them in court. I have already made filed a complaint with the city police department and alerted the BSO. My next step is to contact the Department of Business and Professional Regulations and the Attorney General’s office to file complaints. I suggest that if you were ripped off by them, too, that you do the same. Let’s get these thieves out of the business of stealing.
