I have a 3-year-old Labrador Retriever who was recently beaten up by my crazy neighbour, he was in really bad shape when I found him laying in the ground in front of my house, it broke my heart to see his blood all over the grass, I thought I’d lose him! Fortunately, the vets were able to save him, and instructed me to give him full rest for a few days, they also told me to take him to a vet dentistry since some of his teeth were a bit shaky.
I found this place online, it had very good reviews and was close to me, couldn’t ask for a better place to take my dog. Please keep in mind while reading that I had to take an entire week off my job to take care of my dog, and by the time I went to this dentistry, I had only 2 days off left.
I got there, and the first thing I saw was a bloody blanket being carried by a woman dressed in green while another woman followed her, crying her heart out. This was not the best first impression, though I didn’t mind it at that moment. I spent the next 3 hours waiting for the doctor to see us, it seemed like every other patient had their turn, and I was the only one who was waiting that long. When it was finally our turn, the doctor says she’ll be quick since she wants to go have lunch early, as if I was taking her precious lunch break away on purpose. After she finishes the check-up, she hands me a piece of paper with all the procedures my buddy’s going to need, there were a lot and they were all so expensive… I swear, all those procedures were at least half the price of what they were charging me in any other place. She said that this was the best place to get them done, that’s why they had to be expensive, yes, that made sense, and I was running out of time to take care of my dog, so I agreed to have the surgeries done there.
The 2 days passed and my dog still needed another surgery, they had promised me that he would be ready to go home in less than 2 days, now they were telling me that he would have to spend a full week in the clinic, I was angry but my dog’s health was more important to me, so I let them do whatever they needed. A week later, my dog was back home with his new teeth and an elephant’s dose of anesthesia in his body, he could barely walk by himself. I called them 2 hours later to report that the effect was still on, they said that someone messed up his dose and got him more than what was actually necessary. I had to run to the vet so they could help him before he died from an overdose. Seriously bad practices go on in that place, and to think that my dog would’ve died if I hadn’t called them… They don’t really care about the pets they treat.
