What body type are you exactly sizing up when you are designing the xxl teen girl hoodies??? It is evident and quite obvious if someone is coming to your store or website to shop and they are looking to purchase an xxl they obviously do not want it to fit like a tight large!!! This problem really needs to be looked at!! There are teens that have health problems just as my daughter does with a thyroid problem and cannot help the fact that she is a little on the heavier side this does not mean she doesn”t want to be just as fashion forward as the girl in class next to her or that she doesn”t care how she looks or that she is heavy by choice!!! If you really catered to a true plus sized teen you may realize that there is a ton of money to be made in this area!!! We have always been loyal shoppers of aero but I am guessing we no longer will be as my daughter is 15 and loves your hoodies all though you truly have dropped the ball when designing the size xxl! I bet if you re – looked into this and took a size 10 model or a size 12 model even and put them in the size xxl you would then realize it is not truly catered to today”s plus sized teen it is very disheartning when you take your child into your stores and everything that is her normal size xxl fits her like a size l spandex!!! As a parent I am truly disgusted that my daughter left your store so upset we will not be coming back until we see that you have taken note of this problem and have attempted to fix it! I will share my disgust with everyone I know to see how they feel about this as well. Not every parent want”s their teen girls wearing clothes that are skin tight revealing all of their goods girls need to be empowered not selling themselves short by wearing tight clothes and attracting the wrong attention no matter what size they are!!!

Absolutely annoyed with the “customer service” My friend and I walked in to the store, these two girls working saw us and didn”t greet us, Didn”t say anything. The whole time that we were in there.. about 30 minutes, no one came up to us. No one said anything to us. It”s like we were invisible to them. Also, there were NO CUSTOMERS in the store… just us. From what I”ve learned working in retail for 6 years, you are supposed to greet EVERY person that comes in to the store. No matter if you”re busy or not. They were standing behind the register talking.. I spent $50 dollars in there only because they had a good sale. But I was about to just walk out, because they were very unprofessional. I walked up to the register and the girl didn”t make eye contact, didn”t say anything. Grabbed my clothes and then FINALLY asked me for my email. If that”s customer service, then I”ve been doing it wrong this whole time.

Yesterday i went to aerpostale outlet store in aurora outlet farm. i had did shopping of $96. before going to your store i had did a shopping from GAP and Tommy Hilfiger, which was worth of $298. But what happened in our store is really outbreak my feelings and felt very bad because someone from our store or i duno who has did such mischievous activity some one has stolen our 2 GAP and 1 Tommy Hilfiger bag which i had kept in our store. And also 2 of your employee knows that i had kept my bags we have kept our bags because we were having faith and trust in Aeropaostale Store and Their Employees. Also that bags which we were carrying was very heavy and we want to spend time shopping in Aeropostale brand as this is my one of my favorite brand so we have kept that bag aside in safer place as your employees also know about that situation. After this when we came to pick up our bags there was no bags at that place and i and my friend tried to find every corner of your store but we didnt find it. and also when we ask your employees they were laughing at us, we have asked them several time but they were not responding us properly, they were looking at us and laughing which i felt was very un-ethical behavior and also when we went to store they were hardly 6-8 people and in that 4 people were doing there billing at billing counter. And when we tried to see our bags in your store, the employees were saying us you can”t see such corner, i dont understand why your Aeropostale employee were doing this at one point i felt that your employee has taken our bags . They were only saying that if somebody will return your bag they will call us. Their actions are unacceptable not to mention they had itself stolen. Also there were lots of witnesses to back this up. Team bags were very important for me and also we have spend whole day for that. Dear Aeropostale: About 2 months ago, I ordered 5 shirts (all Aeropostale brand and approximately $9 each) for myself, I usually wear size XL in shirts. I had only worn the shirts twice, and they all shrunk the second time when I washed them. The shirts now fit my sister who is 11 years old, skinny built, and usually wears a S in Aeropostale shirts. I don’t think that the XL shirts that I ordered online should fit my sister who is 11 years old. I also did not expect to order shirts and have them shrink after the second wash. I expected to have the shirts that can be worn more than twice, still fit me when I wear them a third time. To resolve the problem, I would suggest that your industry of clothing be susceptible to fit more appropriately. Your clothing does not fit to a true size, hence the example with my little sister wearing shirts that I should’ve been wearing. If at all possible your company should start looking for opportunities to make your clothing fit to a true size. The economy is changing rapidly and so are the aspects of women health and beauty. It’s almost as if your company expects to have healthy, fit women and men shop at your store. Not every person has the same body shape or tone, there are many different sizes of people around the world. Your company would benefit greatly if you looked for opportunities to make your clothing sizes fit better. Good morning. On July 29th, my daughter and I went to the Aeropostale in the Philadelphia Mills mall (Store 00011). We went to the counter to make our purchase. Salesperson No. 856863 was not happy to have to help us. She took our merchandise without a word. The ONLY thing she said during the entire transaction was, and I quote, “Enter your email”, and “give me the last 4 digits of your credit card”. She put the receipt in the bag and handed it to us. My daughter said thank you and she didn’t even respond to that. I am actually angry at myself for not canceling the transaction on the spot but I do know I will NEVER go in there again. Greetings! This complaint is regarding the Aeropostale shop in the Citadel outlets, located in Los Angeles. I had accidentally left an adidas shopping bag full of clothes and shoes worth more than 250 dollars. I called the store and the manager agreed that they had the bag turned in to them and that I could pick it up the day after, she also asked for my name. However, As I went to the shop the day after, they said someone had already took the bag claiming to be me. They did not even consider looking at the ID card of the person. I request an action to be taken as immediately as possible or I will press charges.

Hello, I am writing to inform you of an unhappy experience I just had at your store in Emerald square mall in North Attleborough Massachusetts. I went into the store to exchange 2 pairs of joggers for a bigger size. I had to find them myself since the employees were nowhere to be found. After finding them I waited at the register for 10 minutes while the employee spoke to a lady who im assuming was her friend by the personal conversation they were having. Once she finally came to the register she was annoyed that I was doing an exchange. She proceded to take her sweet time looking at the tags and receipt. While putting everything in the system she continued to speak with her friend by standing on her tippy toes and looking over my head. Now the other employee came up and they proceed to talk about her upcoming vacation! The girl finally finished my exchanged, she shoved everything into my bag and pushed the bag towards me. Thank you were the only words she uttered towards me. All in all it took me 30 minutes in the store to do an exchange! I will no longer shop at this store.

Hello, i called the greenwood mall store; aeropostale on monday, november 16, 2015 to inquire about a particular sweater and size. The sales clerk said that they no longer had the item. Well, i called back today, and talked to a sales clerk and told her exactly what item i was looking for. She said they did have the item. So, i go to the store to exchange my items. The sales clerk had pulled the incorrect item. The manager went over to ask her about it and she said she was asked to pull the items that she had pulled. I told her that i was the lady that called and that was not the item i inquired about. She literally wanted to argue with me about the items. She said well the person i talked to on the phone asked for the item that she had pulled. I had to do a return since they didn”t have the item and the manager informed me that in the future i needed to be sure and ask for the right item to avoid any confusion in the future. Really? She was just as rude as the sales clerk was to me. While i was shopping, i saw an item in the bin and asked the clerk on the floor(Same person i spoke to on phone) was that something close to what i was looking for, and she answered rudely they were just shirts. She acted like she didn”t want me to touch them. Both the manager and sales person were very rude to me. I will not be going back into the store! No customer service at all!

Hello, My name is Ashley Cozzi I live in IL and shopped at your store in Yorktown mall in IL. Yesterday customer service checking out was extremely horrible especially since the clothes I picked was priced wrong on the cash register than the sign where the clothes were stocked. I saw a end cap with T shirts price said 5.85 each and the another sign above it was buy 1 get 2 free I grabbed 3 shirts, when I went to check out the price was wrong. Both cashier”s working at the time which was 4:57pm said no I”m wrong even when the sign was right in front of them and the cash registers. I said this is false advertising look and one employee said oh that”s a mistake I”ll take that down only because I pointed out the mistake. Worst thing was aeropostales employee Said they can”t honor that mistake they made to me I was furious with this statement since this was not my wrong doing and should have been honored the deal. Very frustrated with the two employees that worked and made this mistake because sign should have been taken down in the morning not 4:58 pm at night when sale was supposed to be over. This is very poor customer service and horrible shopping experience for me. Both employees were female one blonde other had black hair, the blonde was Caucasian and the other woman was Asian. Both working at 4:50pm when I entered the store checked out at 4:58pm central time. This was the worst customer service I have ever had. And I work in retail myself, I always honor this kind of mistake by employees. Not sure what kind of company this is, but not a friendly or great customer service one.

Hello, my name is Dustin K. Miller and I am a very loyal customer. I recently visited my local Aeropostale store in the Florence mall location in Florence Kentucky, area code 41042. I absolutely love the company and the service I”ve been provided ever since shopping. I must speak to someone in a corporate position of authority to explain my most recent visit to the store. I”m so embarrassed that I”m very close to taking my experience to the local news station unless this issue is resolved. I have provided the information of my purchase receipt. To say the least I was embarrassed during my visit. I had purchased men”s mesh shorts, black and red along with a men”s graphic tee black and red to match the shorts. I paid the the employee and left to browse other stores in the mall, well I had ventured back into the store to look some more and during that visit the same employee walked up to me and told me I had to purchase the items I had in my Aeropostale bag, that she would have to alert security if I didn”t do as told. Well during this outlandish accusation, I tried finding my paper receipt and couldn”t. I told her I was sorry but she must be confused and that I needed to speak to manager. She had told me to give her the bag with my items and she continued to alert security. I know for a fact there are security cameras posted inside and out of the store along with the entire mall for that matter. I was forced to hand over my items that I had purchased prior to coming in a second time and security escorted me out and off the premises. I have a electronic receipt as you see and I know there should and would be footage of me being harassed and belittled into giving my purchased items back to store clerk without any type of refund or anything. I”ve never in my life experienced this matter and would like it to be addressed, or I will have to go to local news station with this and then have some light shined onto the store that pretty much robbed me of my items. I shopped from Chicago fashion outlet mall which is located in Illinois 4 weeks ago, I bought 2 polo men T-shirts for my husband when I came home and saw that store cashiers didn”t take it out security tag from that. I am trying remove this tag from different locations but they said they can not help me bcoz they don”t have machine to take it out and now I am freaked out bcoz I spent $30 for my gas to just go all over other places to just remove this tags and now finally I have to make complaints against that location as how they provided customer service with other customers too and I can not go to Chicago fashion outlet mall again which is 2 hour drive from my home. Hi. I am writing this in regards to a pair of jeans that have a manufacturing defect in the back right pocket where they were sewed together and the size posted on the jeans was the incorrect size displayed on jeans. I am the type of person who will not wear cloths until they are washed due to contamination from other people trying on cloths at a store. I did not wear the jeans. I only washed them. I went in to your store to get the product in question replaced and due to your return policy i was not able to get any reimbursement for product that was flawed at not fault of my own. I talked to Cory Waite Assistant Store Manager. He was of no help at all in regards to the problem. I asked to speak to Megan Harper the Store Manager but was told that was not possible. Cory wouldn”t call his manager to get this problem resolved. It only takes a second to care and no action was taken to notify aeropostale of the issue with there product. I buy from your store on a regular bases and I am only one out of millions of customers you have. My point is that if other people are experiencing the same bad experience with your products, I would think you would want to be notified of these issues instead of receiving treatment such as someone throwing there hands up in the air and saying I”m sorry there nothing we can do. I am from Montreal Canada. I”m in vacation here in Denver Aurora at my family”s. I would like to make a complaint regarding your store assistant manager at Castle Rock. I am a customer and yesterday, January 5th 2013, I went to Aeropostale in Castle Rock. By chance, I noticed that the store had a 30% off promotion. I wanted to take advantage of the sale so I wanted to return a 200.00 worth of clothing that I got at Aeropostale at Aurora mall on January 2nd and to get them with the discount. The lady said that I couldn”t return the stuff, even though I had a receipt and the stuff were brand new with still all tags attached and were bought only 2 days ago. The lady also said that since I bought them from a different store ( Aurora Mall ), I couldn”t return them here. I told her that the policy of the receipt specify return possible in 60 days in any US store. She then accept but weren”t happy to do it and her name is Shannell ( superior manager ). But my complaint isn”t again her but against the assistant manager : This assistant was against what was doing Shannell for me and she whispered something in her ear while Shannell didn”t listen to her and kept on doing my return and purchase. She then turn to me and my aunt, gave me a dirty look and a shire remark saying : you guys are lucky it wasn”t. I just ignored her since I didn”t even talk to her from the beginning : she wasn”t dealing with my return at all. She left then the cash after her rude attitude. I purchased over 150.00 this day for me plus the refund and repurchase I made for my brothers in Montreal, I ended up spending about 300.00 in your store in less than a week. From the stuff I got for myself, I got some wrong sizes so went back today January 6th to ONLY EXCHANGE THE SIZE. When I walked in the store, Yvonne was by the door and when she saw me she gave me a look of disgust and turned her back on me. I picked the stuff I needed and totally ignored her and went to the cashier to exchange. Yvonna, this assistant manager that gave me a bad comment the day before, came behind the cashier Courtney D. that was helping me and said to me in a rude way :”I though the superior manager told you to not make exchange to you anymore.” I told her that I bought it yesterday from THIS store and grabbed the wrong sizes she than understood she was wrong and left the cashier with not even a small apology. The cashier was very nice and even told me:”I”m sorry about what just happened.” I was upset and told Yvonne that was passing next to me to give me her name. She didn”t appreciate that and tried to fool me by giving me 2 different names on a paper : Shannell in first and hers in second. I told her I want YOUR name since no one else did anything bad to me so she then told me it”s the second one. I finished my transaction 5 minutes later and bought stuff too. I was leaving the store when I saw Yvonne with some security guards that asked me to leave the mall right now. I was shocked because I didn”t do anything wrong. Yvonne lied to the security in front of me and told him : they got asked yesterday from Shannell to not come back in the store regarding some big issues. That was obviously a lie and Shannell didn”t even mention about it to me the day before. So I tried to talk to her but she kept on lying in front of him. I got so mad she put me in such a shameful position in front of all the store including her employees and the customers plus the mall security guard so I insulted her. I felt discriminated and humiliated, my aunt and I, since I am not a thief and I was nice to all the rest of the staff. Security even took a picture of me on his cellphone and called the police : isn”t that shameful ? She made up a story by saying that she called the security AFTER me insulting her which is a lie and made up a co-worker witness for her to the officer T. Black. After asking us both same questions separately, me her and the security guy of the mall, the officer realized who”s lying and gave me a case number 13-807 and the employee”s full name for a report and encouraged me to contact you. This event happened in your store 00600 and because of Yvonna Razzeca I got kicked from the entire mall. I”m not even a resident ! I am complaining for discrimination and personal attack against me from your assistant manager. I am in vacation in florida and decided to go the aeropostale outlets store located in ellenton. The first impression I had was not the one I was used to any other store in the us, polite staff, good morning, how are you today, etc…, maybe because I was speaking my own language (Portuguese) no staff welcomed us. I picked up some tee shirts, boxers and sweats (About 150 dollars). I decided to pick up a short when suddenly I heard a loudy voice many times saying, “you are gonna a break it”, I did not realized that it could be for me as I eas simply picking up a short from the upper section, a bit high for my tall (By the way I am 170cm and 42 years old). The manager came to me (Taller than me) and says with no manners at all, “I grabi it for you if not you will break something, the discusson started from the way he talked to me, I said to him. That it was impossible to break steel and I say to him thta I was 42 and there are manners to speak with customers, I was about to move back when, again the manager who was in service and did not want to give his name (He had a pin with the info a87″) said to me”to the other way”, how rude he was, everybody at the shop heard and were shocked with his atitude because he was the only one who was speaking, said to me to leave immedialty the premises, I was shocked, and security officers were just behind me to pull me out of the store, I asked his name and said to me that he was not obliged to give his name to”foreigners” once again I was shocked. As I did not want to spoil my holidays I decided to move back. One thing is sure, I will never buy goods from aeropostale as I will not recommend at all to visit the store, foreigners are not welcome, very bad image for the country. Even my bestfriend, american citizen and working on sales and customer services, said that she never had any experience in her life, never. She even asked ihnhe was on drugs. This manager does not have the profile at all to be a manager, no manners, no way to dress, shorts, tee shirts nd flip flops,. You dont see this in europe. I wll certainly go forward with this complain untill I reach the right person and have a formal apologies. I am writing this because recently I bought a jacket from Aeropostale unfortunately when I received the Jacket through the mail it was the wrong Jacket the mail address was mine but the Jacket was somebody else”s . I naturally called their customer service and went through the process I was told that they would send me the right jacket and it would be okay so I asked how long would it take for the jacket to arrive to me they then told me that it takes approx 2 days to leave the warehouse then they would ship it to me one day delivery well because it was so close to the weekend I assumed I would have to wait till Monday for it to arrive but much to my dismay it didn”t arrive . So I called customer service again and they told me that it would arrive to me in about a week I was shocked seeing I was told it was going to be sent over night they lied to me . The company tried to apologize but , I didnt want anymore apologies I wanted to be compensated for my troubles but they told me they couldn”t do that . Its amazing that a big popular company such as this one would treat its customers so bad. I bought 4 polo shirts for work at $10.99 each. After wearing them three to four times, there are holes forming in the sleeves. My polo shirts from Walmart that I’ve had for 3 years and have worn much more that cost me $4.99 each are still in perfect condition. I will not buy anything else from Aeropostale until the improves. I have the receipt but because they are closing down they wont let me return it or exchange it at any location. its not right because i bought a pair of pants and i should be able to return it or exchange it if something is wrong with it. i would like to get the same 1 but i would like 1 that is not messed up. when i wear it it looks weird. I had my daughter go to Towson Town Center in Towson, MD to exchange a pair of jeans on Friday evening 11/17/17 for a different type not realizing she didn”t have the receipt with her and they wouldn”t even let her exchange the two pairs of jeans . She has a receipt for one pair but not for both . So I called the store later that evening and questioned why they didn”t let her exchange them for another type of jean and size and they told me that she couldn”t . After arguing that I have exchanged clothing without a receipt before and then they said it was allowed . Who hires these incompetent staff to work at their stores!

I had purchased 2 Henley shirts and 1 crew at store 00936 Allen Premium Outlets in Allen, TX on 4/20. While removing the tags, we noticed a small tear on the seam of the sleeve. I looked at exchange/return policy and it says unwashed, unworn or defective merchandise can be returned in 60 days. I came in on 5/18/2018 and the associates said that without the tag we just don”t know if its been worn. The two associates thought it through, but decided that they just couldn”t exchange it. The policy says nothing about keeping the tag on the shirt and its sad they you”re not willing to exchange a $11 t-shirt. I went to Nebraska Furniture and bought a $200 table and I accident damaged it and they exchanged it. I went to Apple and my AirPods stopped working and they replaced it. You know what I, I came back and bought a $2000 MacBook at Nebraska. That”s what customer service does. For an $11 t-shirt that we just wanted an exchange, your associates made a decision that it was worth to have a customer never return.

I had purchased 2 pair of jeans for my daughter on march 3rd, 2019. She had picked out the same type of jean, only in different denim washes. After getting home, the one pair didn”t fit the same as the ones she tried on so I told her we would just return them and hung them in her closet until we would be going back. (we live 60 minutes away from the store). Saturday, march 30th, my daughter and I went to return the jeans. Seeing that the pair she kept and had worn had started to fray so badly, not holding up after a few washes within 3 weeks, she decided to exchange for something else, or, since we had the original receipt, I told her she could just have them credit back our credit card if she didn”t find what she wanted. Boy, weren”t we in for a surprise! Ater looking around and trying on jeans, not finding anything my daughter wanted in the store, I informed the salesperson that we just wanted to get a refund. That”s when the salesperson decided to inform me that the jeans smelled!. She stated “you have washed these. Yes, these smell like you”re washed them”. When I informed her that no, they had not been washed, they didn”t fit my daughter. She again stated that we would have to find merchandise in the store because she wasn”t refunding anything. I have never been treated so ridiculously disrespectful like this in my life. Over a cheap pair of $30 jeans? To imply this in front of my 12 year old daughter was even more disgusting!! I can assure you that we will never be in your store again and I will be making a complaint with the bbb as to not only this abhorrent inexcusable behavior, but also the fact that you do not honor what the sales receipt states about returning merchandise. I had the worst customer service experience at Aeropostale store located at Citadel Outlet on 7/24 between 8:50-9:15. My 2 kids, husband & I went into the store around 8:55. Few minutes later I ask for a dressing room to try on 2 pairs of shorts. One was too small so I looked for a bigger size which I found and my husband asked a lady for a dressing room for me. She went to grab the keys & return to the dressing room where I was standing there waiting but for some reason she looked at me & walked back to the counter then told my husband ” no, she can”t try it on because we are closed.” She then said something to another lady on the cash register & they both laughed. I don”t know why I was being treated that way and why she made fun of me. I understand that it was past 9pm at that time but there was still other customers in line waiting to pay.

I have been purchasing with Aerpostale online since 2016, never had an issue until november last year after placing two other successful orders prior. My order was cancelled without any plausible reason. I submitted the order again shortly after and the same thing happened. While others were confirming that they were getting their packages without any issues. I have just recently quit my job at Aeropostale. I can not speak for other locations but I can speak for this location. To start, our store manager, is very rude to most of the employee”s. After my first winter season with this location, I was informed that this manager would talk crap about not only me, but every other employee that worked there as well, including the other managers!!! When I came back, the store manager was slightly nicer to me than she had the previous year. She even gave everyone a gift card for christmas. Once I was asked to stay on as a permanent employee, I started to become unsatisfied with the store. One day, I forgot probably about 5 sensors. Each time that the alarm went off, the managers would make rude remarks to me over the walkie, which every other employee could hear. Then, over the next few days, on our touch base, which every employee must read before starting their shift, there was a note that said: “please remember to remove ALL sensors…A.K.A. Denise*” (Denise is not really my name.) Then started the presure to buy items. Yes I understand that I could have said no however I hate to disappoint people and make them upset with me. When we would begin to close the store, we would see how we did for the day. On days that we did not make the daily goal, a manager would say “so what is everyone buying to make our goal?” The store manager even opened up the website for my bank on her phone and told me to transfer money so that I could buy items. There is also a rule in place at this location that you MUST buy at least 3 items. If you do not, you can not buy anything!!! By making our daily goals, and eventually our monthly or quarterly goals, the managers would receive a bonus. Did the employee”s who make up most of the work force in the franchise get anything? NO!! of course we didnt. If you refused to buy anything, you were given the cold shoulder by the managers. I had to start leaving my debit card and entire wallet at home because I was always pressured to buy items for the MANAGERS TO GET A BONUS!!! Another issue is how unprofessional the Store manager was! Most of the managers were fine. But the store manager acted more immature than I do, and she is about double my age!! We switched to an electronic system for receiving our schedules and requesting time off. I had requested off the first weekend of spring break so that I could go visit my Neice who was just born. I requested this time off as a whole (about 4 or 5 days) and this was 2 or 3 weeks ahead of time. When I checked my schedule, my store manager had told me that I did not request off some of those days and that I had to work. I told her that my screen said that I had requested them off and that they were pending. This manager then proceeded to send me a picture of her screen showing that I never requested them off. She was very rude about it too. This was also the 2nd time that I had been scheduled when I had requested off. The first time, they had told me that anything writen in our original request off book would be transfered to the online system yet they did not do this and told me that it was my fault that I got scheduled. I continually had to go back and request days off multiple times because they had deleted my days and would not give them to me…they are required to inform you as to why you can not have a certain day off yet all they did was keep deleting a day that i had requested off. When you decide to leave the Aero “family” You are basically giving up your ability to shop there. The managers become very rude to you and even tell most of the employee”s to be rude as well. Out of the 15 or so people that i know that work there, about 10 of them are unhappy with our store and are either quiting or are trying to go to another location for a hope of a better experience. I must say that I am discouraging everyone that I know from applying there and am telling them all about my experience. The store manager is unprofessional, rude, and is filled with more drama that school is! STEER CLEAR OF THIS LOCATION IF YOU ARE LOOKING FOR A JOB!!!

I have placed an order for 13 items for international shipping. Upon payment there was a bug and I discovered that they have taken same order twice!! I tried to call them, I emailed 20 times, tried to contact by live chat, but they all directed me to email the international customer service. Which I did.20 times!! And not a single response!! I emailed them as soon as I received the 2 order confirmations with 2 different numbers before they shipped.no response!! And now I just received 2 confirmations on shipment!!! I have purchased several pairs of the “uniform” pants in different colors for a few years now. This last purchase was around August/September 2016 and I purchased 1 black pair and 2 pairs of khaki color. I may still have the receipt. All 3 of them are defective. The seem on 1 leg per pair is twisted and when I try to iron them, they don”t lay normal. I am extremely disappointed in these pants and don”t understand why Aeropostale chose to sell these defective pants regardless. I”m sure you are aware of this issue and guarantee I am not the first to bring this to your attention. I chose to ignore this for so long because I don”t like to complain. However, I need these pants for work and they bother me with the seem on the front of my leg instead of on the sides where they”re supposed to be. I”m not sure how you prefer to handle this but I would like a refund, replace, return, etc.

I live in Greenville, SC. I drove to Gaffney Sc to only go to Aeropostale on 9/30 Sunday. It takes 45 minutes to get there.this is the only store that fits my daughter. When we arrived we discovered the store was closed! No note on door or anything. We asked the workers at Journeys why they were closed and they said the opening person called out and the Manager said they were not coming in. Really? I”m highly frustrated at this point! I live in Oregon and I was shopping in Washington during the Thanksgiving holiday and every single store I went to in the mall offered tax free shopping for Oregon Residence accept Aeropostale. The associates were rude about it to the point where I set down a $240 purchase and turned around and walked out of the store. I spoke with the District Manager (Brian)about my experience and his comments were that the paperwork that goes along with tax exemption is just too much work so the company as a whole has decided not to give tax exemption to Oregon residence. I believe in the State of Washington its a requirement. Regardless of the tax exemption status though I would have paid the extra $20 in tax if the service would have been acceptable. Young teen age girls and their rolling of the eyes and flipant attitudes is not something consumers should have to deal with. I will not shop this company again.

I love shopping online and Aeropostale was one of my favorites. But not until they ripped me off. I already suspected that there was something wrong whenever I make a purchase and have them shipped for a friend outside the US. so here’s what happened, I made my last purchase on Sept. 13 and had the items shipped to S.Korea, they automatically charged my debit account at that time for $53.46. Then after a few days I received an email from them confirming that they have already shipped my order. When I checked my debit account I found out that I was charged again for another $53.46, what the heck?! so, I contacted them and told me that I was only charged once and the other amount was the temporary authorization hold through my financial institution and would be released depending on their time frame. so, I waited.. Three weeks had past and there was no money returned to my account. Sent them an email again about it they asked a lot of info from me and promised that they will do everything to release that temporary authorization hold and fall back to my account, so after a few days I received an email again telling me that it has already been released and was placed back into my account. Then I checked my account again, the money that they took from me was not returned yet and for the nth time I contacted them again, Guess what!!! another representative told me that when my order was shipped out, the amount of $53.46 was charged to my account and would have replaced the authorization hold. WHaaat??!!! So this is another story???? I don’t know how to express what I feel now, DO they really think I’m stupid ? Aeropostale is a thief and you guys should stop doing business with them!

I made 2 separate orders from Aeropostale.com online and one of the orders never made it to my door.. I called the customer service to complain about it and they said they would reship my items after they put a tracer on it.. Instead I received an email that they will not reship or credit me for my package.. I called Customer Service back only to be told they would send in another request which they did not. This package contained Christmas presents for my 14 year old daughter. I make little to no money and that was all I could do for her and now I have nothing. I took it upon myself to call UPS (the courier) and upon further research they informed me that UPS is not liable for these type of issues and that the shipper (Aeropostale) is supposed to do a Tracer whether there was a signature or not which the system didnt show them doing.. I then requested that the UPS Customer Service Rep email the signature to me so that I can send it to Aeropostale.. I then called Aero back with the info and I was told That info is null and void and that once again my request has been denied. I made a purchase at the christiana mall aeropostale in Newark delaware on may 1 2018 and I also purchased a few other things as a birthday gift for tomorow may 2 2018 and when I got home to wrap up what I purchase and realized there was a security sensor still attached to one of the items being a pair of shorts, I gave the store a call and the associate laughed in disbelief then got silent for a few seconds and said just bring them back and we will take it off like it was okay, Again I am celebrating a birthday with a loved one and what I purchased was a gift for tomorow we have birthday plans but instead I am inconvinanced by having to drive back to the mall to get a sensor removed off merchandise that I already purchased and the associate thinking it was funny .

I ordered my son”s Christmas gifts on Cyber Monday from Aeropostale. I was so excited at the deals I had gotten. Received email that order shipped 12/2/2010. Their charge hit my account 12/6/2010. By 12/13/2010, did not receive. I tracked it with UPS and it still stated “Billing Information Received” in status field. I called to inquire about my order and was told that it must be lost and confirmed that it was never given to UPS. I was promised that this would be investigated and I would receive an email in 24 hours. Nothing received, so I called again on 12/16/2010 and not only is it lost, but only 3 of the 6 items can be sent at all. It took them over 20 minutes to get me a manager, who couldn”t help me any more than the girl who took my call (This is after the girl tried to blow me off twice without giving me a manager). I asked for the same pricing on other similar items, so I could still have my son”s gift and was told they would need several days to give me an answer on this. I am going to be incapacitated next week, so I am unwilling to leave this to the last minute. I told them to refund my money in full and will never shop with them again. BUYER BEWARE! I ordered some jeans November 3rd (order number [protected]) and when I received my confirmation order the website had reversed my shipping and billing addresses. I quickly contacted Aeropostale to resolve this issue and while they initially said I would have to cancel the order eventually they said they would try to get the warehouse to fix the issue. On November 8th my shipment arrived but to my surprise it contained a bunch of XL men’s boxers instead of the jeans I ordered. I contacted customer service who said they’d send me a return label and expedite the correct items, they also confirmed my shipping address. Since the original order was only sent in a bag I asked If the replacement order could arrive in a box for me to return the incorrect items. They said maybe it would but basically didn’t know. Instead of waiting to see I went ahead and got return shipping supplies and took the items back to UPS. On November 14th my “expedited” shipment arrived at my billing address instead of my confirmed shipping address sent by UPS surepost which I believe is the slowest method of shipping. I opened it to find the correct jeans but they were damaged, someone had sewn a smaller pocket on the left side then ripped it out and left thread hanging in the holes. These weren’t distressed jeans or anything so it looked pretty bad. I again contacted customer service who said I would need to return the order meaning I would need to locate another return box and packing tape as it was sent in a plastic bag from them. I’m getting tired of driving to UPS and buying shipping supplies to return incorrect and damaged items. The icing on the cake is that since I placed my original order I’ve been getting marketing e-mails from Aeropostale, I click on the unsubscribe link on each one and follow the directions but weeks later I’m still getting at least one e-mail a day. At this point i’m done with the company. They haven’t even sent me a return label for this last order yet so I plan to share my experience in hopes of helping others avoid similar disappointment.

I placed an order online for my son’s Christmas on December 17, 2007. The website clearly informed me that if I did not receive the order by December 24, 2007, that I would be credited the order and would be able to keep the merchandise. In order to receive such credit, the complaint had to be made by December 28, 2007. I never received the order! I called Aeropostale’s web customer service line on December 28, 2007 because I had not received my order as instructed. I had tried to track it several times using the tracking instructions and links on the Aeropostale website and had no luck. It was like the order had disappeared. I was instructed first that they could not find the order and couldn’t even tell if it had ever left their warehouse. The person I spoke to told me that I should have received it by December 24, 2007 with no problem. She instructed me that she would cancel the previous order and place a new one and for my inconvenience would give me free shipping this time. I told her that I wanted my merchandise and I wanted a 100% credit as described on their website when I placed my order. She told me that she did not have the authority to give me that type of credit and that the “corporate headquarters” would have to do that. She instructed me to call back the following week. I called back on Friday, January 4, 2008 to check on my order and my credit and found that the order had never been reordered as I was told previously and that they had not contacted the corporate headquarters as I had been previously instructed. I was further told that they only had 1 of the items left in their warehouse and that they could not give me “like” items to replace the one’s they did not have in stock. Joann was the person I spoke to and she told me that the previous person didn’t know what she was doing and that she probably didn’t go into the kind of detail when reording for me like Joann would. (Like this really would impress me). NOT!! I asked to speak to her Supervisor. Supervisor Shawna got on the phone with me and told me that they had lost my order and couldn’t tell if it had ever been shipped and that they would credit my account and issue me a 20% discount card for their store. I told her I wanted a full credit plus the same in merchandise, just as their web advertisement stated. She said that was not possible so I asked for her supervisor. We spoke to 2 more Supervisors and then the Manager of the Web Sales and was told they could not locate our merchandise and could not replace it. They could only get us a credit on our account. We were told to contact their corporate headquarters ourelves if we wanted to address the issue of false advertisement. This is clearly false advertisement and a company putting their welfare in the hands of an untrained call center who doesn’t represent their customer very well.

I purchased jeans on the Aeropostal Website this past week (1/16/17). The jeans did not fit once I recieved them (5 days later). I called customer service the following day. I was advised to take them for an exchange or refund to the nearest store. Once I drove an hour to get to the store (Evansville, Indiana) the employees aplogized, and called the company. When the company refused to return or exchange, not only was I upset but so were the employees. The company advised me that they would send a box to have me send back the product, which would take 7-10 business days to get back to the company, and then it would take 60-90 days before I would recieve the appropriate amount I paid back. I was hustled out of $100.00, and it forced me from now on to take my business else where. Hollister is now my Jean provider, due to the poor customer satisfaction policies. I understand why this company went bankrupt. I would rather spend a $1 more to get treated fairly.

I purchased over $200 dollars worth of clothes for my granddaughter to then send with a friend to her in Kenya. To ensure receipt of the order prior to the friend traveling to Kenya, I paid extra for the 2-3 day shipping and called and talked to a representative of the company, who checked each item was in stock and would be received within the 2-3 day period from the time of my order. The order was not received until 3 days later, after our friend had left for Kenya. Although I did not receive my order in the 2-3 day period, Aeropostale refuses to refund my shipping costs. Their customer department is extremely rude and does not care about their customers. I was repeatedly told that it is not their policy to refund shipping costs for any reason. Needless to say, Iwas unable to send to my granddaughter the items she had picked out and I purchased for her. I have terminated my relationship with this retailer and encourage all others to do so.

I received an aeropostale sweat suit as a gift but it was too small. Unfortunately, i was not given a receipt, so i did not expect a refund, but felt it was reasonable to be able to exchange the hoodie and pants (With tags still attached) for another suit that fits. I visited one store and called several others and every store said something completely different (And none could help me out) . So, i emailed the company and they said, “as an accommodation, we are offering exchanges to customers without the receipt for holiday purchases until january 31, 2015. The exchange can be of the same item or a different item for the same selling price or higher. ” yet not a single store i communicated with seemed to acknowledge this. Now i’m stuck with an overpriced sweat suit that does not fit, not to mention the amount of time i wasted.
