contracted to install fence in back yard and front. Exisiting fence on both side of neighbors. Orginal quote $2500 Contractor came to homeowne’sr home for signing of proposal. He afford to install heavy duty hardware on driveway gate. Made it sound great and agreed to additional $750. Contract/proposal sign 3/15/13 after several phone calls/texting and then using a different cell number he didn’t know he spoke to homeowner for start date 5/30/13 work was about to be completed 6/1/13. Homeowner asked contractor to attach fence to existing fence. He said he had to have it in writting from homeowner to attach to existing fence. Did so but fence was not attached and large gaps at all four areas. Front side walk gate also large gap. He installed an extra pole crooked to fill in gap. The other gaps used fencing to fill in gaps. The heavy duty hardware for gate ended up being larger thickness poles and also were installed at the four corner’s that weren’t suppose to exist. The front yard fence was installed higher than county code for our area, he did come back and lowered the front fence. Asked him again about attaching to existing fence, said he was done.
