We paid a $1300 deposit on a whole steer. Several weeks later Sarah contacted us with the final hanging weight of our beef. We paid an additional $1300, so $2600 total. She said it would be about 2 weeks. Two weeks later we started attempting to contact her repeatedly. We were told they were busy in the field, then the butcher was backed up, etc. She finally quit answering our calls. We are outside the 45 day PayPal dispute window. We threatened legal action and she finally returned our call yesterday, begging us not to. We asked where our beef was and she said she would have to look at refund options, which I understand to mean we never had a steer and the hanging weight was invented. We called the butcher she deals with, he said he has never been backed up. We asked Sarah for a refund, she said her PayPal is locked due to several disputes. We will be attempting to press charges. .
