I applied for a Filipino maid from Agensi Perkerjaan Jenni S/B, located in Kota Kemuning (same row as Pizza Hut). The agency is managed by Lilian Thong and her M’sian assistant, Mr.Raol and Filipino administrator Joanne. I wish to highlight that this maid agency’s business dealings has not been very transparent and honest. My filipino maid of 9 months showed me her contract which is a total different set from the contract i have with Jenni Agency. My maid’s contract did not state anything about deducting RM45 p/day for every off day she takes but my version states that. Thus, creating a big misunderstanding between me and my maid. When we contacted Jenni Agency for verification, we were told that RM45 p/day is deductable IF the maid decides to step out of my (employer’s house). However, if the maid decides to go to Jenni Agency during her off day, RM12 is charged for her meals for spending the day there. Another set of explanation! Apart from this discrepancy, when I applied for my filipino maid – her biodata stated she is still married with 3 kids. When she arrived, she revealed indeed she has 3 kids but divorced. In the biodata, it stated my maid has prior experience as a domestic helper, but when she arrived, she revealed she never worked as a domestic helper at all and was working in factories all her life! When I confronted Jenni Agency especially Lilian, I was told that that my maid lied. While i requested for a replacement maid during the 6-months ‘guaranteed period’, I was told I had to fulfill 3-times of ‘consultation sessions’ of my maid with the agent to proved my maid is really truly beyond redemption. I stopped going to Jenni Agency after the first round of ‘consultation’ as my maid ended behaving worse by refusing to do any housework. When I cornered my maid on her change of behavior, i was shocked when my maid revealed she was told to behave in bad manner as it was already in the 5th month and hope I will only request for a replacement after the 6th month which is after the guarantee period. I am highly suspicious that such agencies as this are running a scam of ‘recycling maids’ and hoping to get second round of RM5.5k of agency payment from customers by encouraging their maids to behave badly after the warranty 6-month period. My friend who is r who is also using Jenni Agency recently returned her maid of 11-months as the maid accused her 11-year old son of sexually molesting her. Upon investigation, it was found that this accusation is made-believe, ‘inspired’ by staff at Jenni Agency to the maid who spends her off-days at the agency. Is this another scheme in getting customers to apply for replacement maids? Mind you, I have paid insurance for my filipino maid, and until today after 9 months and despite pestering Jenni Agency to give me my maid’s insurance coverage details, etc – all is silent. Do not be fooled by this Jenni Agency.
