It was not long when I found my uncle received a notice for pending significant premium. I was confused a bit as he had told me that his 10 years insurance plan was to expire. But after I heard of the notice I was in complete surprise. I advised my uncle to speak to the customer care executive. Like me he too was taken by this move of this shady company. He took my advice and contacted customer care but to no avail as they would never pick up the call. He went on his effort to try to reach the customer service centre to the point where he could have filed a harassment suit against the company. Some of the individual might be opinion of that not picking up the call is a trivial issue. But for one second you hold yourselves back and think that here is a guy who is in his mid 40s, how important for him that money would be. Before letting you what happened in the end, I would like to tell you that whatever my uncle has faced has been due to lack of research, he had just heard the name of the company and heard one or two good things about it. This was enough to put his trust on them for 10 long years.
Now, completing the story, the customer service executive picked up the call one fine day and he was of no use. My uncle said that he was stuttering and fumbling and put him on hold for a long time. Finally, he had a talk with the senior executive who accepted his request to close the plan. So that he could not be robbed of any many as mere premium.
