Al Fess

The landlord, Al Fess, that “owns” the properties that are 382-388 is known to just control the properties and collect rent, without paying the mortgage on the properties. As well as being an absentee landlord who had said to current and previous tenants that he was not going to do repairs on the properties. And even, right now, the properties are in foreclosure. We know. We’ve received letters from the bank and city hall that proves that the bank had started and even finished on foreclosure proceidures on the two properties he is renting out and even his own home. While the properties are in foreclosure, Al had continued to collect rent, illegally. And when looking into buying the property we currently live in (388-386 Sprague Rd), our realtor had contacted Al Fess about buying the property. He did not use my name or anyone else’s name who lives on the property. The landlord, Fess, replied “I’m just going to collect rent until they (the bank) takes it from me.” Al Fess is a complete rip-off artist. If you see that he is renting a property, and are interested in renting said property from him. Do NOT move on it. He has been doing this for years. You will lose money and you WILL lose your home, if you’re renting it from him.
