Alderson BMW is a BMW dealer in Lubbock, Texas and I lately had a terrible experience with them and wanted to share it with you guys. They will try to lure innocent people like us to make their money. Alderson BMW is one retarded and shitty place, which you should avoid at all costs when it comes to cars.
If you ever decide to visit Alderson BMW then read this review or else they are going to rip you apart by providing the services you didn’t even ask for. I decide to visit Alderson BMW just because they had good ratings online but it seems like their employees are responsible for handling their ratings online and that is the only reason why you are not going to see any of the negative reviews there. I called them last week to book an appointment with them because I had to change the engine oil and filters, Alderson BMW quoted around 150 dollars and we agreed to it.
On the day of my visit, I was approached by one of their rude service advisors who asked me to look over the papers and make sure all the services are stated which I require. I told her I don’t know much about it and asked her if that’s the part of the normal maintenance to which she replied with yes. I waited for around 4 hours over there and then found out that the total cost of my bill more than 1500 dollars. I was shocked to see this because I was being quoted 150 dollars and here I am with a whopping 1500 dollars. Normal maintenance won’t take more than 100 dollars because I had got it done before and it didn’t go near that.
I asked the service provider to let me speak with the manager because the bill was too high and I can’t afford it right now. The service provider started behaving rudely with me again and told me that I agreed to their services to which I not. I only told her if it’s a part of normal maintenance then go for it and normal maintenance won’t take more than 100 dollars. She was still frustrated with me and was least bothered to solve my problems and was continuously showing her aggressive behavior. After some time she agreed to talk with her manager and told me that they have able to reduce my bill 1200 dollars which is still high for me. She told me if I am unable to pay the bill she would not return my car, their service provider was very unfriendly with me and I don’t wish to visit this place anymore. They somehow managed to reduce my bill to 1100 Dollars and I agreed to pay it. It turned out to be a very stressful experience for me as it was just a waste of time and money.
