I purchased a 2005 Explorer from World Ford Kendall. It needed running board they suggested to have Alec’s install them. After the installation I noticed that the boards were not installed properly and loose. My 4 year old stepped on the board and it came loose and touched the ground. I called various time to speak to the owner “Austin” and he never returned the calls. I finally went to the business and a man by the name of Juan came out a saw that the wrong brackets were used. He went to the back of the office where I assume the owner told him to order the right brackets which he did. I went back on 12/13 to have them installed. They had an installer by the name of Mike take on the project to replace the bad brackets and replace with the correct ones. After waiting for 2 hours I still notice Mike lost and not installing my brackets. I went to the office asked for Austin and he is not available. I then spoke to a Manager by the name a Buddy and he was not helpful but told me it would be another hour. After the hour the installer still had not put on one running board. After 4 hours one board was installed but not correctly. The board was not straight. After 4.5 hours and very frustrated I finally told them to remove everything and I will have World Ford deal with them and get my money back. Nobody in this place had any remorse or sympathy, nobody said I’m sorry nobody cared! Jorge Miami, FloridaU.S.A.
