Not long ago my brother had to undergo surgery, the cost of which was to be covered by the mediclaim. The company initially was brought to the idea of paying the medical bills. When my brother came to know of this information he was quite relieved and he was ready to go for surgery. The surgery was done with, but the insurance company came with the statement that they will review the report and then they will take a decision. But the real question is why did not the company came up and communicated with the person or the doctors. He was never prepared for this situation and this took a toll on his mental space. He was all ruffled and figuring out why he can make the payment. He even went ahead and admitted that he would sue the company for nothing less than fraud. Now, the trust that my brother reposed on Allied Nationals is no more existing. He now is on the edge and would do anything in his capacity to make changes. I just listened to all of this quietly but couldn’t help him because the insurance company had their way around paper with some pre-existing paperwork. I seemed like a logical move to compensate the claim as per the latest reports, but this a clean and neat bending of situation which is often done by the company to stop from making payments on behalf of clients. When I tried to get into the depths of the matter I came to a conclusion that my brother was not the only one duped there were some others as well. One more thing Allied nationals is not the only company who used this tactics there have been other companies too who have a part of such unethical event.
