The level of the service this people provide is totally unacceptable. On September 21st at 1.05 pm I requested a road assistance to jump start my battery. I was promised that a service truck would arrive in 50 minutes. After 1 hour of wait and no follow up calls either from the Allstate or local providers I called the Allstate again and was told I needed to wait 30 more minutes and the truck was on the way. After 30 minutes and no follow up calls either from the Allstate or local providers and I called again and talked to customer representative and one of the supervisors. I was told the original service provider could not make it and they tried to get in touch with another service provider and would call me back. After 15 minutes of waiting I called the Allstate again and talked to a customer representative. I was told that they indeed had got in touch with another local service provider and I would get help in 50 minutes. After another hour of waiting I called the Allstate again and spoke to a customer service representative and was told to wait another 40 minutes and also they could give me a phone so I could call the local service provider myself. At this point I have been standing in the sun for more than 3 hours. I was exhausted, I felt I had a heat stroke, and did not have any more trust in the service. I asked my husband to get off work , drive 50 miles to jump start my battery which he did. Around 5 pm I called the Allstate and requested the cancellation of the service. The incident happened in the metropolitan area of the city of Richmond, Virginia where more than plenty local emergency road services. It was humiliating and exhausting experience with one of the most unhelpful customer services ever.
I had a fraudulent charge from this company. My bank is making me close the account and open a new one. Also an electronic check.
