They also operate Tri-County HVAC Contracting and Tri-County Plumbing Co., neither of which is licensed by the state of Texas or by Harris County. Joe Phillips at Amazing Auto has written my company three large checks that the bank refuses to honor. Two of them were written on closed accounts. I am currently in the process of obtaining felony Theft By Check warrants with Harris County, and assisting the DA’s investigation of organized criminal activity by Phillips and Waldron. In the process of trying to collect these checks, I have found out things about Joe and Amy that people around Deer Park and Pasadena need to know before they do business there. First, they offer a $10 complimentary oil change. This is nothing more than a scam to get you in, so they can break something on your car. I watched it happen. I also watched as Joe Phillips got into an argument with an elderly gentleman (who has only one leg) and threatened to tear his other leg off. This from a fellow who brags about his outreach ministry to young people. Joe is a career criminal with arrests dating back 30 years. His latest arrests were on March 28th (Felony Criminal Mischief) and again on April 15th (Felony possession of a weapon and Fraudulent use and possession of an ID) Amy Waldron was arrested on March 22 for Criminal Mischief as well. As for the unlicensed plumbing and HVAC contracting, the State of Texas has opened an investigation, and have asked me to provide the information I have to one of their investigators next week.
