Dario & Elaine Hernandez of American Concrete LLC took $18,750 from me to demo a residential property, then disappeared. Dario talks a good game – he’ll tell you about his 8 kids, how he started his business the year his first child was born, how he’s a Christian & goes to church, how he knows everyone at the city, how he knows how to get things done with the city with a wink & a nod, that his company does much work for the city, how he owns all his own equipment, how he owns his dump, etc. All lies (except maybe for the 8 kids part). A 7-10 day job (per our contract) that was supposed to have started 6-1-17 didn’t start until 6-21-17. Some of the work got done, but they left a mess & stopped returning calls, texts, & emails on 8-4-17 – months after this simple 7-10 day job was supposed to have been finished! They’ve moved out & are heading to Houston to take advantage of Hurricane Harvey victims. Dispicable. I did a background check on them, & their criminal record is a mile long. When I heard that they were heading to Houston to take advantage of folks that are already in a desperate situation, I had to try to warn others. Utterly dispicable. DO NOT HIRE!
