I was directed to the American Immigration Center, Inc. through a search engine to get a copy of my naturalization papers for social security to prove citizenship. I was asked to complete an online form and did not know how much it would cost until I agreed to pay. Their fee was $170.00 for the copy of the report which I tried to cancel but could not for there was no way to cancel. I called the company and they told me that the person whose papers were requested had to call. My husband did call to request a refund and was told that someone would get back to him. He was not contacted. We have a joint account and the payment was made through PayPal. We requested a refund and filed a claim with PayPal but they said they investigated and was given a tracking number that the package was sent. We didn’t get anything in the mail or by email and have not heard from the company. PayPal has closed our case.
