What a group of Cons, with horrible QA/Inspection. | I purchased a supposedly “brand new” $1859.00 Gibson Les Paul Traditional Classic, it arrived blemished appearing that of a 2nd level or 2nd hand quality instrument (or even used, who knows?), very disappointing. | I immediately took photos and provided to this company within 30 minutes of delivery receipt of the guitar. They wanted to argue and tell me the scuffs were lint from the case and offered a $150 discount, well, the discount was not enough since they’d actively posted the same model guitar with blemishes for $1499….uh, no thanks and I’m not stupid or blind. | Furthermore, I purchased a 2nd guitar (as an already paid for replacement) of the same model/color as I was receiving the RMA for the 1st guitar to send back. This company held the shipment of the 2nd guitar for over a week until the 1st guitar was returned, this was after they dinged my credit report for the Payment Plan service they offer. | Once AMS received the returned 1st blemished guitar, Customer Service sent me an email telling me know they were reimbursing me LESS A RESTOCKING FEE ($184.95)….I’m like WTF, you send me a blemished instrument, ding me for a Credit CK on the 2nd guitar (the already paid for replacement) and then don’t even send the 2nd guitar for over a week? Needless to say, I cancelled the order for the 2nd guitar, and also cancelled my account with AMS. | If you’re going to purchase anything with the organization, USE PAYPAL…..you are entitled to full reimbursement. Bottom line, AMS preys on consumers for this restocking fee “bull”. Thanks to PayPal I did receive my full refund.
