I too, ordered a lift and was dumb enough to let them charge my card, as it was going to be shipped “Monday”. THis was in July 2007.I got the same song and dance that the container was delayed, the factory in China dissapeared, they had no money , etc etc etc all the way to December I finally called my credit card company after it became obvious that they planned to steal my money all along . The card company opened a claim, called Americas Pride, were told a credit was forthcoming, and then washed thier hands of it. I never received my $1800 back, have no lift , now the company has dicsonected thier phone. Calls to the police have gotten me nowhere- I filed a claim with the Mass Atty General . They know about this company but don’t seem to be interested that this company is stealing money from poeple left and right. Any suggestions as to how I might try to recover my money would be welcomed. Unhappyinoh ohio, OhioU.S.A.
