My son purchased gas from this Amoco station on a Friday, using his check card. After purchasing $20.00 worth of gas, he later finds out that Amoco subtracted $60.00 from his account. After a verbal exchange with the gas station and calling the Prince Georges County Police to complain, the owner agreed to remedy the problem. Six days later, my son still does not have his money, nor has the Amoco station credited my son account with the $40.00 difference. I am thinking of filing theft charges. I spoke with others who have had similar problems with Amoco stations. Beware, either don’t use your bank or check cards with Amoco, or just go to another station.
