I just moved to Wheaton, IL and needed a vet for my pets so one of my neighbours suggested me to go to Animal Medical Clinic of Wheaton and it was just a TERRIBLE EXPERIENCE. We were held up over an hour, we didn’t even get to see a doctor. Front work area staff is exceptionally juvenile and disagreeable. The walk-ins that came after we were in and out before we were even in a waiting room. I requested to talk with the workplace supervisor and was told by the front work area that there isn\’t one. She was probably not lying, as this spot is ghastly as a business. It doesn\’t make a difference how extraordinary the Doctors are if you can\’t see them, and the front work area acts like adolescents with no supervision. A week later we scheduled another appointment with them. They don\’t have a clue about what they are doing and it\’s expensive!!!! My ginger cat was having urinary issues when I initially went to them for his yearly shots. Dr.Zollinger did a test and disclosed to me he has got crystals. They told me to give slopes pressure c/d sustenance with certain anti-infection agents.
I used to feed my cat dry Purina sustenance in the morning and ground hamburger for supper. They gave test food for seven days. The bill came to $150. My cat felt better within a day so I was cheerful yet following seven days when I halted anti-microbial and the test food as he demonstrated the same old issues. I took him again however met a new Doctor named Renee. They did a test again and said they discovered a few microscopic organisms which were not in the main test. What\’s more, they requested that I complete a culture which was $155 as that-can just determine what\’s happening. Only For the food I had no real option except to purchase 7lbs kibble for $40 of the slopes diet.
Till then they didn\’t give him his yearly shots. They gave him another new anti-microbial until they get results. Presently the bill was $300. Following seven days Dr Renee called to tell me that the Culture test was fine and there is nothing amiss with my cat. I should simply proceed with the solution diet. In the first place, why did they experiment with different medicines which were causing more bacteria in his body? I spent a lot of cash without researching about crystals n urinary issues with male cats. I had a feeling that something was off with the treatment so I went to another Vet. The doctor was genuine and understanding and prescribed me some medicines. At present following 3 months, I began giving him Purina master urinary tract disease medicine with oral water every day. He\’s okay and feeling a lot better now. Dr.Renee misdiagnosed my cat and kept prescribing him wrong medicines and because of him, he suffered months of pain. They have lost a customer forever. I am never going back here.
