I had been having some problems while sitting and standing. The main cause of the problem according to me was lack of calcium. After a certain period, the pain started increasing. I could not sleep at night because of the pain in my legs. I had realized that the problem was getting serious and therefore I consulted a neurologist. After the doctor checked out the X-Rays and other reports, I was given a list of medicines that I was told to eat consistently and without delay. I was also told to exercise and a manual was given to me. The manual consisted of exercise routines that I was told to follow strictly. I was advised to find a physical therapist for helping me and guiding me.
The pain was getting too hard to bear and since I wanted to get better soon, I searched the names of physical therapy clinics around me. The name of Ann Steinfeld Therapy came up. I saw that Ann, who owned the place, had a lot of experience in the field and thus I decided to go to the clinic. After scheduling an appointment, I met Ann. Throughout the admission procedure, she was super relaxed and calm. I showed her the instructions manual which was given to me by my neurologist. She told me that she would take a look at it soon. After the admission procedure was completed, I was told to come daily to the place for my sessions. I was assured of the fact that I would get better soon.
The therapy sessions started soon. On the first day, I was taught some basic exercises for warm-up. To be honest, it all felt quite simple and easy. As time passed by, the sessions kept getting harder. Something strange was happening – Instead of improving, the back pain was getting worse. At first, I thought that it was because I had just started exercising but even as time passed, I could not feel any improvement. A month had passed and it started worrying me. One day in the middle of a session, I asked Ann about whether I was doing the exercises according to the manual that was given to me by my doctor. I was shocked to my very core when she told me that she had forgotten to read it. I stood up during the session and demanded an explanation. Ann suddenly turned all weird and furious and told me not to teach her how to do her job properly. It took me some time but I finally realized that the place was not good for me at all. The day I found out that Ann was not making me exercise according to the manual, was my last day at Ann Steinfeld Physical Therapy.
The doctor after seeing new X-Rays told me that my condition had worsened because of the therapy sessions. I still regret choosing Ann Steinfeld Physical Therapy over others. I don’t think that I will ever recommend anyone else to go to the place.
