I have used Apple Vacaton in the past, was not so bad until I decied to try their Apple 5 Square deal. They take you to a hotel that is titled a RIU hotel, but not even listed in the RIU marketing material with the other hotels. It may be a 3 Apple hotel if even, they tell you it will be a 5 Apple for sure, but if you have ever been to a 5 Apple you know what to expect. First of all you have to walk about 15 min to get from your room to the pool or even the hotel lobby, the have limited room service and only service your fridge every 2 days which is 2 beers and a couple of pops, I am not even kidding about that, that is what the hotel lobby told me, I thought they had made a mistake! The shower leaked all over our room and it was dirty! We called Apple that night and was told we could not transfer until the next day which took all day and $60.00 addtional for each night we wanted to stay at the other Apple hotel! I also picked and payed for our airline seats in advance, I do not like to fly so the seats are very important to me, when we got there on the way there and back we did not get the seats on our itneary, in fact they tried to put us way across the plane from each other both ways! I showed Frontier my Ininery and they told me it was an Apple problem, and on the plane the Apple rep was so rude! I expect my money back for both the airfaire I paid extra for and the 2 days of my husand and my own vacatoin time! I have reached out to Apple many times now, they have done nothing!!!!!! They took my money and my vacation time and ran, they runied our vacation we work all year for! Please report them to the Better Business! .

We booked our 50th wedding anniversary package
We booked our 50th wedding anniversary package to Cancun through Apple and stayed at the Apple recommended Secrets Capri ( a 6 star rating) on 5,25,2013. Payed for a Preferred Delux Ocean View room with two beds. We were placed in a one king bed room with a pool view. When questioned Secrets said they would have to call Apple for permission to change our room. Apple said OK but we were told the resort was full for the weekend and we could not be moved for 5 days 2 days after our anniversary date. We would have only three days in our preferred accomodations. We were compensated with a Romantic dinner on the beach for staying in our lesser room. Our total package cost us $4,206.38. There were other problems as well. Slippers and robe and and drink selection were basically missing from our one king bed accomodation. While we paid over $4,000 for our preferred accomodation and spent 5 days in a lessor room we met two other parties that paid substantially less for their similar accomodations, specifically $2,200 and $3,000 respectively. Obviously we paid for a lot more then we recieved. We found out inadvertantly while visiting another Secrets Resort, that Apple owns the Secrets Resort Chain. Secrets Capri, while given a 6 star rateing is really a 4 star resort. We believe that Apple Vacations steered us to Secrets Capri to fil up a substandard resort with the full knowlede that we wanted better for our 50th. On top of that my husband developed bloody dysentary from the second day of our stay after eating in one of the resort restaurants. My case developed after our return to the US. It took 3 Doctors visits, a loss of ten pounds and several medications to resolve the dysentary. Is there a food service problem at Secrests Capri? It is my opinion that the answer would be a resounding YES! A letter was sent to AV Customer support and never answered We believe that Apple needs to review this complaint for a complete refund or other appropriate accomodation at a resort other then Secrets Capri.

2nd year for problems with Apple Vacations. Dominican Republic Apple Representative was extremely rude to myself and my husband at the Grand Bahia Principe Ambar regarding our transfer for departure. When we got to the resort we were given an invitation to a briefing regarding shore excursions and additional services. The invitation provided the names of our apple representative and how to contact these individuals. The invitation had our departure time incorrect and I attempted to find the Apple Representative to clarify our departure time for our return flight and possibly book an excursion. When I went to the Apple Desk, the representative was not there and other representatives informed me that he only was at our Ambar lobby for 1 hour each day (10:30-11:30). I returned to the Apple Desk on Wed. during the allotted time to find no representative again. The AirTran representative informed me that the rep was at the other lobby most of the time and I could find him there. The other lobby was a shuttle ride away, so I returned the next day. Next day I went to the Apple Desk to find that he would not be there until 11:30. The Canadian Travel Agent realized that I had been coming over daily and offered to call the rep. in the other lobby to assist with my transfers to the airport. The Apple Representative was very rude to me on the phone. He explained that he could not help me with my departure time, as I did not come to the welcome briefing. I explained that I was snorkeling during that time and he became angry and insisted that I disclose whom I purchased a snorkeling trip through. I explained that my only need was to confirm our shuttle pick up time. He continued to raise his voice and explain that I did not come the briefing, thus he was not going to assist me. He hung up the phone. My husband went to the Apple Desk desk at the newly designated time to get our departure information. Mr. Rivas was the Apple Representative and my husband explained that someone was very rude to me on the phone. Mr. Rivas stated it was his partner Sigfrido Veras and he had overheard some of the phone conversation in question. Mr. Rivas was very rude to my husband and explained that since we did not go to the briefing he could not give us the information. He stated that we would need to attend the Friday welcome briefing (1 day prior to our departure to get this information). Mr. Rivas became very rude and walked out. My husband attempted to go to the welcome briefing on Friday ‘to play their game’ at 11:30, but the Apple Representative cancelled the briefing in our lobby. We were then directed to a phone number to call for flight departure information. When we attempted to place this call, we were informed by resort staff that this would cost money to call Apple unless a guest service agent would be willing to place the call for us. Apple Customer service representatives have disappointed us two years in a row.

Apple Vacations was chosen to help our friends & family travel to Cancun, Mexico for our May 2006 wedding. The majority of our guests were leaving Dulles International Airport and purchased the land & air accommodations through Apple Vacations. The week prior to our wedding, the package price dropped $87.00. I immediately notified Ballston Travel (local agency) and Apple Vacations. I was told Apple “guaranteed pricing” and will offer the lowest advertised price. Providing the lowest price is also in my contract that I signed with Apple for the Seago/King Wedding on May 6, 2006 at the Riu Palace Las Americas in Cancun, Mexico. All qualified guests would receive a check in the mail. Well, 6 months later my guests are still waiting for their refund. Myself and our local travel agent have called and/or sent numerous emails to resolve the situation. Most of the time, no response. On a few occasions, an Apple Vacation representative says “they are checking into it” and then we never hear from them again. It is an embarrassment that this refund has not been issued. They are clearly overcharging 21 people. My local travel agent at Ballston Travel [protected] has all of the necessary documentation to show individual payments and the qualified individuals that should be receiving a refund. We have presented all of the information to Apple and they still have not provided the refund…6 months later!! Any assistance you can provide to get our wedding guests their refund would be greatly appreciated. We know they spent their hard earned money to celebrate a monumental time in our life. And we would like for them to receive their due refund. Thank you in advance.

Apple Vacations www.applevacations.com Went to San Jose Cabo on Sept 18 to stay until Sept 25th. Booked with Apple Vacations. I choose Presidente Intercontinental bc is was all inclusive but because Apple rated it a 5 star hotel. Trust me this is not a 5 star hotel. When we checked in to our room it smelled of mold and mildew. My husband went to lay down on the bed and the smell was even worse. I had him get up and pulled the sheets down to reveal a huge circle of fungus growing there. Mold was everywhere. I immediately went to the front desk demanded another room was taken to a new room which was no better. I tried for two days every hour on the hour to find a apple rep that was supposed to be there in the hotel. On the 3rd day went to concerige and requested our flight back home. She called a apple rep and the apple rep came over to our hotel a hour later. She wanted us to look at another room. I walked in and it had one bed. I asked where she thought our two kids were going to sleep. She then took us over to Crown Palace. This hotel was 75% improvement but the showers had not seen any type of cleaning in a long time. We had only one restaurant for Breakfast which served the same food each morning. The lunch and dinner menu were the same every other day. We thought going all inclusive was the way but now we know. Our apple agent here in Denver told us that all the restaurants would be open every day and that was not the case. I spent alot of money planning for this vacation for our family. We were so disappointed. There was no apple discounts on excursions as we were told their would be. The hotels elevators were shut down 4 hours almost every day leaving us to walk to the 4th level where our room was located. This was our first time with apple. We have been to cancun, jamaica, carnival cruises lines, etc. booking on our own. I went with Apple to have this trip planned for us. What a waste of time and money.

Confirmation #:[protected] apple vacations packaged. Purchased the on the go connection travel that was offered by apple vacations to connect to u. S. A. Universal travel intl. Told me that I would be getting a loaner phone when I get to cancun, mexico. Apple vacations representative told me that my cell phone is not compatible with what they offered and contact my travel agent for refund. I called my travel agent and won”t help me instead hanged up the phone on me. Olga, the owner of travel agent told me that it was only $15.00. I told it was the principle that she sold me this offer and she doesn”t know the product. Olga was very rude and refused to help me contact apple vacations. I tried to call again to ask for help, olga in return told me not to call back and hanged up the phone on me again.

Hello… My name is william the agent for peirson travel, I had two guest arrive at montego bay airport on friday march 22, 2013 around 09:53 am it took them about 1/12 hours to find a shuttle to take them to the resorts, two excorts trying to help them to rui negril clubhouse, no one was there to help them, all tranports saying they don’t know what was going on, I thought there was a guest agent there to welcome them in at jamaica, so the two ladies had to paid $25.00 each for transportation. They was very upset about all the worries, so, airport agent call me and ask me was I going to pay for their tranfers ride to the resort, I said know it was included from apple vacations after the second call back to jamaica. I brought a Acapulco package on [protected] to 10-09-2018 went my husband and I landed in Acapulco on [protected] no one from Apple vacation was there waiting for us so we waiting to see what happen. after 10 minutes I show someone my Confirmation document they don’t know anything. so we went to someone else and he look at his listing both of our name was not no that listing so we had a SHOUTING match. so he decide to help me call Apple Vacation which took another 15 minutes so straight that out. finally they took us to Copacabana Hotel Resort. is not the first time I travel with Apple Vacation but I think maybe is time to go somewhere else. Very Very DISAPPOINTED.

I have book our vacation in April 2019 for travel on June 17, 2019 to Los Cabos from Chicago for seven days. I have always booked thru Apple Vacation and never had any issues until this time. We are very dissatisfied with the whole service that we received. Once we got to the airport in Chicago we and got our boarding passes on the connecting we were seated separately. When asked to be together we were told that we will have to get this fixed in Mexico. We got to Mexico and we were informed that they seats would have to be changed at original setting. We all were seating separately. That included 3 adults and Two kids ages 5 and 7 years old. The flight was delayed and our transportation from the airport to the hotel had left. Once we talked to Apple Representative they got us another transport which we had to wait about 30mins for. Once we got to the hotel the check in was ok. The Apple Representative greeted us and showed us around a little. Next day after breakfast we met with him to confirm our departure and take a look at activities that we would be able to do. We booked our tour for Off Road Side by Sides for Thursday in the morning. We were supposedly leave at 8:15am which our transportation never showed up. We went to the Apple Representative to see what’s going on. He called the and informed us that our activity is schedule for 11am with pick up at 9:55am. However we had a ticket confirming the date and time. When we asked to have it switched and for next day we were informed that this would not be possible because of their cancellation policy. Again we stated out ticket shows the time and date and no one showed up. Finally he said that he will call a supervisor and see what he can do. We had to come back again to see him. Once we come back we were told that it was switched for Friday at 7am pick up. On Monday June 24th we were picked up from the hotel and dropped off at the Los Cabos airport terminal 2 however our flight was from Terminal 1. We had to walk from terminal 2 to terminal 1 with a senior individual and 2 kids along with our suite cases. We got our boarding passes and we were suppose to be sitting together again with an aisle separating us however my husband got moved to a different seat and again two kids had to sit on their own. We also asked for the connecting flight to have seats together again my husband got moved to a different seat. On top our flight was delayed but 1:15min. I don’t understand why we don’t have direct flight as we did in the past. I will make sure to let all my friends and family know how affluent of experience we had.

I have had a Hawaii vacation purchased from Apple Vacation. The situation was similar to the described here – itinerary they sent us contains wrong time of departure. When we came to the airport they simply refused to even talked to us. I have simply stocked in the airport WITH 10 MONTH OLD kid in my hands. Just for your information – there is no air conditioning outside of KUAI airport, no water and no any other conveniences – everything inside but without ticket you can’t pass security. Anyway as result of long conversations with answering machine I have got connected to someone who simply told me to get away, purchase a ticket and fly back home. After 4 weeks and complaint sent to them I have got so called “certificate” for 100$ expired in an 1 year. Lesson learned: NEVER EVER HAVE A DEAL WITH APPLE VACATIONS! They don’t have ANY customer support even in case of emergency.

I have taken 5 Apple Vacations and have had problems with at least 3 of them. My husband & I were going to an all-inclusive resort in Mexico the first week of February, 2010. Our flight was scheduled to leave O”Hare at 6:30 a.m. All of the passengers were boarded & then the captain came on & asked us to de-board as the windshield needed to be replaced. Long story short, we did not get out of O”Hare until 4:00 p.m. Apple Vacations owns their own airline & doesn”t partner with anyone else, therefore they couldn”t bring in another plane to take us, nor did they have another USA3000 plane available, so we sat at the airport all day. Why be there at 4:00 a.m. for a 6:30 a.m. flight if we are going to lose our entire first day at the resort? This is not the first time this has happened with Apple Vacations.
