For the third time within a year, this AM PM gas station quick pay service has screwed me over. The first two times I deposited a ten dollar bill, and only pumped 5 dollars in gas, but when I went to the service window to request my change I was told that I had no change. But this time being the trusting honest joe that I am I put in a twenty, and only pumped five dollars and one cent. The penny was an accident, and I didn’t want a lot of change in my pocket and I didn’t have any change in my pocket, so I spent about ten minutes looking on the floor of my SUV and under the seats for a penny, so that when I went to the window I could give them the penny and get 15 dollars in bills instead of 14.99. But as those thieves there usually do, they told me that I had no change coming to me, which really pissed me off. No matter what I said to them they just looked at me like I was trying to steal something from them. Fat Chance. I was given a number to call during the day, to speak to the owner, but I have done that before, and he lies and says that everything with his register balances. The clerk at the counter showed me a receipt from pump number 8 which I had just used with a total of .01 cents pumped and no change owed. That is completely impossible, because the quick pay does not take coins. I work 2 jobs to make a living, and gas is too expensive these days to just give my last twenty dollars away to some low life con-artist.
