Arrowhead Wood

I ordered furniture from Arrowhead Wood in September, 2012. It was a custom order so I expected it to take approximately 12 weeks to ship. In December I called to check the status of the order and was told it was “almost ready” and given an excuse about why it wasn”t ready. In January I called again to check the status and was again told it was “almost ready” and given another excuse. In February I called again and was told it would ship the following week and that shipping would take a week or two. I waited two weeks and my furniture didn”t arrive. I called again and was given another excuse and told that my furniture would ship in March. On March 5th I called and was told again that it was “almost ready”. When I called in April, I was again told my furniture would ship on the 18th. I finally gave up and canceled my order. I was told to wait 7 to 14 days for my refund to process. I checked on my refund after 9 days and was told to wait 14 BUSINESS days. I received a call on April 24 stating that my check would be mailed that afternoon. On May 1st I received another call stating that my refund wasn”t mailed because they don”t have the money. This company also has a Facebook page and it contains photos and announcements of all the places they have traveled. After receiving written notice that I had canceled my order, they chose to go to a paintball tournament in California. Now they are telling me they don”t have the money to refund me for furniture I paid for in September, 2012? After blasting their own Facebook page with details of their paintball tournament on April (after I canceled my order), they don”t have money to refund for an item they never shipped. There are many other negative reviews of this business on Yelp, BBB and Etsy. Unfortunately those reviews happened after I placed my order. I have been shopping online for years and have never been ripped off but this is beyond blatant. Do yourself a favor and AVOID this company.
