Art van furniture is a furniture store chain found in 1959 and its headquarters are located in Warren, Michigan. People have mix reviews about their services, whether they fulfill the customer needs or not. Data emerged from different websites such as pissed consumer, dirty scam, rip off report, etc reveals that people are lately not satisfied with their services as they do not fulfill what they commit. According to complaints board, there are 109 complaints out of which 2 are resolved, and according to the pissed consumer they have rated art van furniture 2 stars out of 5. They have rated their customer service 1 star, product or service quality 2 stars, and their staff 2 stars. Overall customers have faced miss commitments from Art Van furniture.
My brother had bought the art van sofa. Initially, they faced bad quality about their product. The cushions on the sofa were of the worst quality and the sofa sinks in as soon as you sit on it. The customer called their customer service and asks for the replacement but they refused to do so. He was not happy about the experience they had and said that they could have bought this from another store at the same price but better quality.
Another customer ordered two sets of bed from art van furniture. Upon receiving the product one of the products was damaged. He rescheduled the delivery for second bed but upon receiving second time also the bed damaged bed was delivered. The attitude from art van shows that they don’t take customer problems seriously or they have poor customer service staff.
Looks like art van furniture has a firm negative record in customer service as they don’t even check the product before delivering that whether the product is in good condition or not. One of the customers faced the same situation when he ordered sofa cushions were missing chairs were wobbly also. The customer has also faced this situation recently this year as well when he received a damaged product. He asked for the assistance by calling at warren store but the manager was not helpful and didn’t even hear about it and the customer was put on hold for almost 15 minutes or so.
Some customers faced warranty issue when they claim the warranty of the product the art van furniture made lame excuses and they were not taking the matter seriously. The customer claimed the warranty about the sofa they bought as the warranty was for 5 years. The art van sent a man for the services but apart from taking pictures of the sofa they did nothing and the customers didn’t even have a call back from art van. Now the customers want to have the warranty money back but still, they have not got an answer from art van.
The third-party company which was hired by art van was very poor about the customer service which made the customers angry.
