My boyfriend looked at the address at ********************** in Converse. He was briefly shown the home in the eveing when it was getting dark. He gave her a $2500 check to hold the place while she fixed all issues. The home had not been cleaned yet as was promised and they said everything was in working condition. After he signed the lease, it rained and he took me to see the house and I could smell a stronf mold odor throughout the house. The home was never cleaned and appliances were never replaced. The fence is falling over and not fixed. The mold insepction was never completed and there are visible cracks all over the ceiling. Now we are trying to get our money back and she is ignoring our calls. David, her employee admitted to us that she is a slumlord and everyone moves out after a couple of weeks when they realize the home is not livable. She refuses to hire licensed professionals and using David the handyman who is unqualified. David also said her husband is an attorney and that how she manages to legally rip people off.
