We purchased health insuarance from Assuarance on
We purchased health insuarance from Assuarance on Healthcare.Gov, We have option to change carriers till Dec 15th, which happens to be today. BUT we cancelled via Marketplace on Dec 8th, on Dec 9th they billed our credit card for premiums. Healthcare.gov clearly says Insuarance companies can not charge us till 2 days prior to policy starts, Which would make it Dec 30th 2014. Policy start date is Jan 1 2015. We Spoke to Customer service Rep Robin, who refused to give me her last name and Refrence number to our conversation, which is odd, all major companied do. I was told it might take few weeks to cancell and they have to hear from Marketplave.Gov. Speaking to marketplace Rep I was told Once you cancell insuarance chose diffrent company, Automaticly companies are informed.I was told not to worry,Everything will be fine. I mentioned to her we were going to contact our Master Card From USAA also. We still keep geting calls to set up account over portal and emails, like theu have no intentions of taking care of it. HEalthcare .gov also provides you your States Attorney genrals adress, which we are planing to send all our correspondence with them. FINALLY, we started cheking on this company, they have so many complaints,it blew us away. I wish we has looked in to it, before doing business with the. HEADS up, be careful.
Beware of the the National Brokers of
Beware of the the National Brokers of America working to sell Assurant Health insurance!!!! They are TERRIBLE and there are plenty of reasons why: 1. This company actually does NOT provide a customer support telephone number to receive immediate assistance. When you call, you are always told that someone has to call you back and then you never get a call. The support agents provide their email addresses to you but they never respond to that either. Some people even gave out personal cell phones which tells me that this company has no way to properly track customer tickets

This company is awful my husband is now disabled but before he was working and paid them to have long term disability well at the time we were not married so his mother had to handle filing his claim he has a brain injury and is now half blind well three yrs we got married and i called this company and talked to someone about what i needed to do to report it to them because our daughter was recieving ssi and now we would be all living together so when i spoke with them the person i talked to said i needed to write a letter with the date we were married and our address we would be living at well so i never heard anything from them but they were sending my husbands check stubbs and his renewal reports to our address and soj i thought things were fine well 2 weeks ago i get a call out the blue from his “new” claim worker who first off spoke with my husband which was illegal because of his brain injury its to much stress on him and could cause him to have a stroke but then she spoke to me and said she just found out we were married and living together and there was the unfortunate problem of an overpayment and she would get back with me so i told her that isent al documentation they asked for so she said she would get back with me about the numbers and then almost a wk went by didnt hear from her then/they just didnt put his money in the bank and now they keep saying they dont have any document i sent and they wont send his money until we pay them 10000 they are very unprofessional and everytime i call she says she doesnt have time discuss it with me but he not getting his money then when i spoke with a supervisor she said if i sent the letter it probably was mailed to the wrong office and so wouldnt have any documentation of it and i just need to pay them do not trust this company they are awful liars disrespectful and apparantly cant keep track of what theyr doing such a terrible company!!!! I plan on getting a lawyer and fighting this because it is soo wrong
