On the morning of july 11th I noticed my car was missing from a parking space at the Meridian Apartments on 1930 West Rundberg lane in Northa Austin were I had left it the previous evening. Knowing the record of the towing company that the complex utilizes I went and questioned the apartment manager and was told that indeed my car had been towed by Assured Towing INC. and had been towed 25 miles to south Austin. The reason given was that I my parking permit is not the same color as others in the complex. I have been at this location over 4 years and of course permits have changed during this time.have not been given a new window stickers. The Window sticker/Permit on my vehicle clearly states Meridian Apartments so any legitimate tow operator would have questioned his actions. Currently I am filling complaints with all organizationss within the city of Austin i can think of. Enough complaints about Assured Towing brought to view might bring at least a little visiablity to this corrupt company Ripped off by assured towing Austin, TexasU.S.A.
