I guess a smile is one of the things which everyone is concerned about and can spend thousands of dollars on it to keep it that way. I recently had myself treated at Athens Oconee Dentistry which is located in Watkinsville, Georgia. I am not a person who writes negatively about any business without any reasons as I don’t have any personal grudges with them, but this time my experience with Athens Oconee Dentistry turned out a nightmare for me and I do not like to visit here again. I did not have a good treatment and still have complains about it, I actually gave them 2 visit the first was when I got a crown the doctor who treated me was rough with me and didn’t have any idea how to treat their patients as I had to continuously ask him during the treatment to treat with soft hands because I was getting the crown for the first time and I am not used to it. The second time when I visit there was for a regular cleaning it also didn’t go good because I was being confronted one of their rude front desk guy who made an irrelevant comment on me and made me uncomfortable. But the actual misery started when I started receiving their surprising bills. After my first visit when I was there for a crown they told me that I need to pay $676 from my pocket and that’s after the insurance. Then again Athens Oconee Dentistry sent me another bill stating that it was not covered by my insurance which was $120 for the crown and I had to pay it also from my pocket. I guess they take their patients as an ATM and nothing else. $796 out of my pocket and $1000 covered by my insurance company and that even for a crown I think that’s too much. The second time when I went there was for just a teeth cleaning and when I was about to leave I was being told to wait because the receptionist told me that the doctor would come and check my teeth even though I didn’t ask for it. The doctor came and checked me, told me that I am going to require two fillings for the other two teeth then I left their office. I don’t know how many patients have gone through this misery but I certainly believe I am not the only victim of these assholes; there will be other customers as well who have gone through the same. Surprisingly one day I got a bill from Athens Oconee Dentistry stating that all of my cleanings was covered by my insurance but the doctor check was not covered which they billed $52 for a 1 minute check which I didn’t even ask for it and I had no idea the doctor will come and check me out.
