Here is an email I sent them and weeks later I am still not getting any type of service from them. I call them everyday and everyday all they say is that they are looking into it. I”ve reached the end of my patience. The following email was sent October 27th; Please note the following: July 14 – I signed the new contract and sent the documents for the bank July 16 – I sent over additional information that was requested Aug 12 – We finally received confirmation that everything had been approved. Oct 19-21 – Windows and doors were installed. As you can see this is completely ridiculous. I don”t understand why it took an entire MONTH to receive confirmation from the bank. I understand that you were on vacation for 2 weeks, however, I would assume that the entire company did not shut down during that period. Our file should have been transferred to another sales person. I sent you an email on September 14th which I never received a reply. Since our windows and doors have been installed, you should note the following: -Deadbolts were not installed in the two back doors, however, they had the genius idea of making the hole for the deadbolt in the door and filling it with insulation until deadbolt is installed. I have several issues with this. Not exactly very secure since anyone can push the insulation into the house and unlock the door. My 4 year old can even do it. If they did not have the deadbolt on hand, then do not make the hole. Seems logical to me. My other issue is …where are the deadbolts, I can not believe that there would possibly be a back order on deadbolts!! – Front door was not delivered, they installed a temporary door in the meantime. My issue with this is that we have been waiting several months now and at this point we have zero clue as to when the door will be delivered and installed. If they did not have the door, then they could have left old door in place and replaced it once it was received. -Several damages were made throughout the house. Holes in the walls, nails left lying around in the front of the house and back deck, tiles are now loose in the bathroom. As you know we have a 4 year old son and two dogs. Very unsecure for them. I actually had one nail go through my shoe when walking to my car one morning. Not impressed. The contractors said that there was damage because it was an older house. However, I can”t imagine that they do too many window replacements in newer houses (unless new construction in which case it is not a replacement), therefore they should be used to working with older homes. We are in the process of selling this house and everything needs to be completed by the end of the week. We have waited far too long already and I feel that the service we”ve received has been lacking. You can be sure that the next house I purchase, if windows or doors will need to be replaced, I won”t be contacting your company for a quote. And I plan on making it known the type of service we”ve received.
